Health surcharge refund

Hi Guys,

I recently got my ILR application approved. My previous visa was until September 2022. Will I be refunded with the health surcharge I paid for the previous visa application?

Thank you

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

The despair is making a return, unless there's a Christmas miracle next week and they at least start dipping into post 2...

I made the application via UKVI and the best thing now is to wait email from UKVCAS and then create an account with them and start uploading the document?

Tier 4 to Tier 2

Hi

I was in Tier 2, then got PhD scholarship and switch back to Tier 4 in June 2018. My employer whom I used to work is asking me to come back to work and has said they will provide Tier 2 visa. I can hold the PhD or go for Part time but will I be able to switch back to Tier 2 now?

Thank you

Re: Curtailment letter for Tier 2

Ask the 'solicitors' to show you where in the immigration rules it states you MUST switch to tier 4 within 2 weeks of resigning. 60 days curtailment letter can take a while to get sent to you provided HO have your current address. 60 days starts from date of letter NOT from date of resignation.
