Senior members kindly post the link...

Re: 7 Years Route Kids

Is it possible for the kids under 18 (after completion of 7 years stay, under 7 year route) to apply alone even though their parents don't hold any permanent stay in UK.

7 Years Route Kids

Hello, My kids will complete 7 years in UK with Child Student Visa. Can they apply for private life alone. As per clause they can apply if they are under 18 and you’ve lived in the UK continuously for at least 7 years, and it would be unreasonable to expect you to leave the UK. What are the chances ...

Re: Parent of a Child Visa Expiring

Hi,

In continuation of the subject matter, can anyone please post the link /thread where someone with "parent of a child" visa was granted extension on humanitarian or compassionate grounds.

Or any more information which can help me in processing my application.

Thanks

Re: Parent of a Child Visa Expiring

Thanks for your reply. I think humanitarian ground just don’t cover refugee what I have read it covers also “Claim for leave outside the Immigration Rules because of compassionate and compelling circumstances”. I really think HO decide / judge every application, case by case. It matters how you pres...

Re: Parent of a Child Visa Expiring

Hi, Thankyou for your time. My kids are holding Tier 4 visa and they have almost completed 6 years and we will plan for their extension and it seems there will be no issues for their extension. For the kids I think it will be renewal as usual and then we can apply for their ILR under the 7 years rul...

Re: Parent of a Child Visa Expiring

Please note that the kids are neither British nor European nationality. As informed that I don't have any of the visa (work, study or marriage). Is there any other way I can process my application considering kids interest, as they still young (12 Years) to be on their own.

Re: ILR for Kids

Thanks for reply. Yeah I do ask for ILR through the possible available routes. So from the comments above, it seems the only way is 10 year route. Please let me know if there is any other clause or rules which can provide the ILR status early. May be through visiting any law firm and getting their e...

Thanks again for clarification. But, according to Paragraph 276ADE(1)(iv) requires that the applicant must be under the age of 18 years and must have lived continuously in the UK for at least 7 years (discounting any period of imprisonment) and it should not be reasonable to expect the child to leav...
