Re: help with Exceptional Talent visa

It's standard practice that visas may be postdated no more than three months from application. Be that as it may, there is nothing that prevents you from applying now, getting the visa now, and not actually using it until August/September/October. Presumably you have already been issued the unique r...

Re: HSMP Extension - False represntation/fraud offence

Your conviction on the charge of fraud by false representation is a criminal conviction that must be declared in your T1(G) extension application. Such an unspent conviction does not constitute an automatic refusal, but a refusal on that ground is possible. It may be reasonably assumed that having f...

I certainly agree: the fact that you are being shortlisted indicates that you (more than likely) have adequate technical skills. However, given the length of your previous work experience, one might infer that you are applying for jobs that are not near the bottom of the ladder; as such, the technic...

The fees that you should pay are the standard £1000 + £500 for yourself and your dependant respectively. See: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/workingintheuk/tier1/general/cost/# The transitional arrangements applied to you in 2008 when you used your HSMP approval letter to obtain a first grant o...

You mention simultaneously that this was an extension application and that it was covered by transitional arrangements. Is it possible that you submitted payment for the reduced fee (for those with an HSMP approval letter who had not yet obtained the associated visa) rather than the full fee (which ...

If I understand your situation correctly, you claimed earnings from a period preceding your full-time studies, and I infer that that same claimed earnings period did not fully fall into ca. April 09 - June 10 (the 15 months preceding your application). Are you absolutely positive that you were allow...

Thanks for the news. I think there is no problem for ILR if I only need to show current extension salary criteria. By the time of ILR, I will have degree as well and it will give me more leverage means I can show lower salary as I will achieve more points in education. The only question remaining i...

It is surprising. Did you provide an employer letter saying your 122 days is "paid leave"? If it is "paid leave" or "business trips", they should not be "absence" at all, no matter how long a stretch they are! In other words, if all your time abroad is paid in UK, your absence is 0 Go and speak wit...

I think the challenge will be for you to demonstrate that these earnings are from a business that you run or from employment, rather than merely unearned income (which is what they would otherwise appear to be, at least to me).
