Re: Contacting Caseworker

Hi all, I wanted to follow up on my old posts. I am still yet to hear from the HO. I know who my caseworker is and have contacted him multiple times. I also know that he has looked at my application because he asked me a few follow up questions in May. My question is what could be taking so long, gi...

Re: Waiting for approval letter !

I am still waiting too. I applied 8 April.

hard to be patient, but there is nothing you can do to speed up the process, unfortunately. Even getting a status update is next to impossible.

Re: 6 months and not received any updates for the BC application

Theoretically UKVI should have written you to tell you that they couldn't process within the 6 month period: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisat ... -standards

Re: April 2018 Naturalization application

I am curious whether UKVI actually sends out a "non-straight forward" letter if they aren't going to make a determination within 6 months, like their website says: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/uk-visas-and-immigration/about-our-services#service-standards Migration data shows that UKVI...

Re: standard applications get delays?

Sounds more like they were "unwilling" to accept my application then rather than "willing" without more information. Sounds like an obvious point but it colours the request somewhat differently. I still find it very strange that I was asked to submit a P60 or payslip to confirm continuing employment...

Re: standard applications get delays?

Interesting. How do you mean that they are willing to accept your application?

They asked for a recent P60 or payslip to show continued employment in the UK, and then they asked for my tax UTR.

Re: Contacting Caseworker

Hi,

Applied April 9 (NDCS + JCAP)
Biometrics done April 10
NDCS appointment April 17

I had one follow up from the HO on May 15 and then another one on June 1 (both mentioned above).

Passport fees have not been deducted. Just killer waiting with no info or indication.

Re: standard applications get delays?

I applied NDCS+JCAP on April 9. I have had two requests for more documents from my case worker and my passport fees have not been deducted.

I am worried! Thought my application would be very straight forward.

Re: Contacting Caseworker

Fair enough. No, my fees have not been taken.

I recognize that there are a lot of people waiting. But we pay £1,300 for this; there could be a little more service in this process. Very frustrating.

Contacting Caseworker

Do you think it would be OK to contact my caseworker (by email) asking for an update or is that not appropriate? I received an email to give further information a while back, which i did immediately.

I find it somewhat baffling that this process takes so long.

Re: Contact from Case Worker

I guess I should also clarify that the USA has a treaty with the UK that exempted me from NI payments for 5 years. So, I didn't start paying NI until a few years ago.

Re: Contact from Case Worker

I file a self assessment form. For that, I needed a UTR.

Contact from Case Worker

Hi all: I applied for nationalisation (ILR +5 years) in early April. A few weeks back, I received contact from my case worker, first, to request my 2018 P60 or recent payslips for evidence of continued employment (I submitted a letter from my employer with my application; so I thought the request wa...
