Re: July 2018 restricted COS

What if the cuf off is 46 and few people tickets borrowed from august, how we expect for the next month ? It is worst case but maybe good to understand the logic. Re: July 2018 restricted COS

When people say 45, 50 & 55 still waiting, have you guys checked with your employer?

Sound odd , some got approvals on 45 whereas some are waiting with same or more points.

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

UK has raised the minimum points requirement again for the month of June. I had 50+ points and would have made the May cut if my application would have been in on time but I just got notice that I was rejected for June applications for NOT meeting the minimum points requirement. I have heard that t...

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

Yes, the exploratory memorandum to the rule changes says that ‘all doctors and nurses’ will be exempt from the cap. It’s not just SOC code doctors, the government has been heavily criticised for not having enough doctors of all specialties and not just shortage listed ones The exemption is only for...

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

Hi guys, the changes will come into effect on 6 July 2018. Please see link here: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/changes-to-the-immigration-rules--2 I am purely speculating here. But why did the government chose 6th July as the implementation date? Does this have to do something with the fact th...

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

The typical number of minimum is 21 points but 21 - 30 points are graduate positions. 30 points is the minimum points with appropriate salary for general positions. Are you sure about it? My salary is 27k. I am not a graduate. My company applies with the guidance of a reputable law firm. I believe ...

The link to the news- https://www.theguardian.com/society/2018/jun/12/government-relax-immigration-rules-overseas-doctors But it is still unclear that nurses and other staff will be exempted from the visa cap or not. Dont see any huge difference even if doctors are exempted from the cap. What are y...
