Re: Applying as a partner vs applying as a parent

I'm not sure where I implied that my getting a visa through a certain route meant that everyone else would get it if they went that route. I'm also not sure where I insisted the OP did anything at all. What I do know is I wrote about the HO being run by humans, which you refuted - and if you're hone...

Re: Applying as a partner vs applying as a parent

Oops. Looks like you ARE speaking of FLR (FP). It figures. I'd say apply as a partner and in a cover letter explain why you do not meet the requirements of having lived together for two years. The HO is run by human beings. If your case has strong merits, I don't think it will be chucked into the b...

Re: Applying as a partner vs applying as a parent

You also have to satisfy the other requirements . I will satisfy them, thank you. The question now is whether I can apply at all as a partner in a situation when we live together for less than 2 years, not married/engaged, have a child and clearly intend to continue living together. It's clear that...

Irrespective of the dates on the marriage certificate, the divorce certificate must be submitted with the Spouse visa application.
Ah, this is true.

Re: Spouse not declared previous marriage on visit visa application

Does the current marriage certificate show the dates of when she was previously married? I am not in agreement with all the contributors that said it is the end of the world. I know it was wrong to withhold information. However i am really not convinced that your case will fall within 320(11), such ...

Re: Advice on regularising immigration status needed

Hi y'all. This is 2 years late, but felt i should give an update. I bit the bullet and went back May 2017, and 3 months later, I got my LLR based on spouse. I am on the 5 year route to ILR. Thanks to everyone for their advice. Really helped a lot! Wow, three months. That was super quick! Well done,...

Re: Spouse not declared previous marriage on visit visa application

What are the maximum consequences (refusal and unable to apply for 10 years)? And can it be explained in application in a positive manner? I'm not sure how this can be explained away 'in a positive manner' though. Where did she get the previous advice from? Is there written evidence of this? What's...

Re: FLR (FP) Human Rights/complex case - any similar cases? What were your timelines please?

BEST NEWS! Just got word from my solicitor. Leave to remain has been granted! Quite stunning, considering I was projecting to get a response in no less than a year. My BRP arrived the solicitors' office this morning which is when they made contact. It was the first email I saw upon waking up at 10 a...

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

I agree with Jin022. Since the reason for the refusal had to do with the number of years the child had spent in the UK, now that the child is 8, should a new application not do the trick?

Seems like a less stressful approach to me.

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Flr fp granted for only 6 months. Here is a brief story of my case: Spouse visa curtailed on the 11th of December 2017 to the 10th of February2018. I applied flr fp on the 9th of February 2018 based on my 6 years old daughter who was born abroad but has dual nationality. Biometrics submitted on the...

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

I really hope so, thanks Hi all just an update to my previous messages. Contacted the home office reporting centre this morning and they said I have been granted leave to remain for 2.5 years. I still can’t believe it as I lost all hope of ever getting a positive answer from them. I have been waiti...

Re: PEO- FLR(FP) Same Day Visa Approved

Congratulations to your brother! I daresay though, that complex FLR(FP) cases being resolved so smoothly may not be the new normal. It really depends on how complex ones case is. Bad immigration history and a complex situation can happen together, but they don't always equate to the same thing in se...

Re: PLEASE HELP :/ Refused Parent of a UK Child Visa

If someone who has previously attacked a police officer, made false statements, burgled shops, and even threatened intimated or cause fear to others, and the fact has been charged, isn't a criminal... then you are either delusional or in denial. Home Office looks after all public safety and affairs...

Your fingerprints will be taken again at the airport.

What you plan to do actually sounds quite outside the realms of legality.
