Re: Naturalisation (Northern Ireland)

Usually 3 large and maybe 1 or 2 smaller "filler" ceremonies, the info page originally had 2 more cermonies for this year (in Sept and December) but I can't see the dates anymore according.

Re: Naturalisation (Northern Ireland)

You're overthinking it, they give you a list of what's acceptable with the application form and it looks like you have enough, if you don't they'll ask for more.

That's just it though - is the evidence that I just listed not "poor" evidence. Which may cast some doubt over the application.
One other thing that you're forgetting which shows the legitimacy of your marriage is your daughter.

Re: Naturalisation (Northern Ireland)

I think you'll be fine with the evidence you have, I don't know that an MLA will make any difference with completing the application, you'll need a solicitor to verify your documents/witness but you may as well complete the application yourself as they're fairly straight forward as long as your read...

Re: Naturalisation (Northern Ireland)

Sorry trying not to be pedantic but if you have the evidence they request now, you may as well apply now so the criteria doesn't change in the interim

Re: Naturalisation (Northern Ireland)

You only need 3 forms of ID per year (+ your marriage certificates/birth certificates etc). Form 8, part 4 http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/form-CTZ ... m-CTZ3.pdf shows what's required, if you've not given enough evidence they'll ask for more, *meerkat* simples

Re: Naturalisation (Northern Ireland)

Hi I applied May 2018 from N.Ireland as the spouse of a citizen and seem to be getting closer to the end, one of the things I was told I could supply would be bank statements that show purchases in the town I reside in highlighted. I would apply now tbh, is there any particular reason why you want t...

Re: POLL: Have you travelled abroad in the 12 months prior to your naturalisation application

This ruling is kinda confusing for me as I've applied from NI so outside of ROI but still on the island of Ireland, does that count as abroad now?

Re: thai wife & irish naturalisation

My husband and I are in the north, he's on long term disability and I receive carer's allowance on his behalf, this isn't the dole, it's disability payment and when I put my application in I just ticked the box and wrote what he received on the form, I also have long term residency in NI. Good luck
