I'm trying to make an appointment with UKVCAS as I got an email today to do so.
I select a slot, etc however when I click on "make a payment" button at the end, nothing happens! has anyone encountered this? what the solution is?

Many thanks

Re: Citizenship application with settled status for Non-Eu Family member

Hello You don't need the EEA PR. The "Settled" status under the EU Settlement Scheme is enough if held for 1 year+. The CSI is only if the EEA citizen was student or self-sufficient during the last 5 years. Thanks for you reply, I'm referring to the case worker guide here: https://assets.publishing...

Citizenship application with settled status for Non-Eu Family member

Hi all, I'd really appreciate your inputs on this: I'm applying for British citizenship with my settled status that I've been granted last April. I'm a Non-EU family member of an EU national, I never applied for permanent residence card and I went straight for settled status which was granted to me ...

supporting a visitor visa without giving the payslips to applicant

Hi All, I'm looking to invite one of my relatives to visit me in the UK, he'll be staying in my home and I'd like to support his application and as part of that I'll like to show my income to the case worker to demonstrate that I can support his visit. However I do not want to show my income/payslip...

Re: 5 year EEA family residence permit expiring 3 months before the new "settled status" go live

According to "EU Settlement Scheme: Statement of Intent" published last week. To make a valid application under new scheme, non-EU citizen family members need valid passport and a VALID biometric residence card issued under the EEA Regulations. This suggest me that you have to hold a valid RC(EEA R...

Re: My 5 years EEA family residence card expires 2 months before March 2019 when new settled status go live

Maybe you need to marry again as well! just joking,

You just need to apply again for the residence card if you wanted to do so, or just wait for the Settled status

My 5 years EEA family residence card expires 2 months before March 2019 when new settled status go live

So I entered the UK on May 2013 with the 6 months EEA family permit and then I got the 5 years EEA family residence card and that is going to expires in Jan 2018. The new settled status scheme is going live in March 2019, so there will be 2-3 months gap between my current permit expiry and when the ...

Re: 5 year EEA family residence permit expiring 3 months before the new "settled status" go live

I would not trust the Home Office on any of these promises, especially related to the time line. So it depends on how risky your situation is: do you need it for your job, or do you need to travel? If so, I would apply for EEA PR. Keep in mind that there were a few months when the Home Office would...

There will be a phased roll-out of the new system in late 2018 so you could go straight to applying. Suggest you follow the news over the summer. Thanks for your reply, yes, I was thinking that it will be available late 2018 but on their website it says: The scheme will open fully by 30 March 2019

5 year EEA family residence permit expiring 3 months before the new "settled status" go live

Hi everyone, My 5 year EEA family residence permit will expired in January 2019 and the new scheme for settle status apparently will go live on March 2019. Should I re-apply for residence permit only for 3 months to then apply again for this settled status or can I stay legally that three month with...

EEA Permanent residence part-time worker and student

Hi there, So right to the point is that my wife, an EEA national, has been both part-time worker and student during a 2 years of her residency in the UK out of the whole 6 years that she's been in the UK, so she has been in the UK from 2012 until now and from 2014 to 2016 she's been part-time worker...
