I received the British passport a week ago but my naturalisation certificate and other passport submitted as part of the application have not been returned. Is there a phone number or email address I can contact about this?
Applying BC for my child and this consent letter is one of the required documents. I recall there was a template from the home office but couldn't find it anymore. Does anyone have a link to it?
I might have found the answer myself from the MN1 guidance document. Looks like her case will be considered at the Home Secretary's discretion?? My wife is also 9 months on her ILR; looks like they can both apply in one application? "Children born abroad to parents who are applying for British citiz...
Our situation is I've just got the citizenship this week. My daughter has done 9 months on her ILR. She was born outside of the UK before any of us came to the UK to work. From what I have read on the Gov website, it doesn't look like she can apply for her British citizenship now on the basis she's ...
As far as I understand: - Some applicants are contacted by email; - Most are contacted by post but sometimes the council ceremony letter arrives before the decision letter. Is my understanding correct? It's been almost 2 months since I applied but heard nothing back. I'd like to think it is a straig...
Yes I ended up submitting cohabit docs for last two years for my wife, frequency 1 month, various types of doc including bank statements, utility bills, council tax etc.
As for my child its the birth cert. and a couple of letters from council/NHS.
Thank you Casa. We barely get out of the UK so absence is not an issue. KOLL was met when we applied for ILR so not a problem. At first I'd thought Option C was the only option. Suppose Option A has the risk of the main applicant not being sucessful and could result in the whole family fails. Agreed...
Hi all, This summer I will have completed 12 months of ILR and hence be eligible to apply for BC. My wife and child will only have completed 5 months of ILR at that point so I'd like to ask forum members which the following is the right route for our BC applications:- Option A: all of us apply for B...
Would like to share some good news with you all. Looks like UKVI are sticking to their 24 hour target now with new applications. Mine was SET(O) dependant Tier 2. Online submission 10th Jan. Biometrics 25th Jan 2019. Email confirmation 28th Jan 2019. Cohabitation evidence and child's birth certifica...
With a (high) cost managed to book an appointment in a couple of weeks time.
As im applying for our 6 years old child as well can I ask if cohabitation evidence is required for a child dependant? Difficult to achieve this if its a requirement.
My local Centre doesnt have any availability so thinking of booking somewhere further afield and if theres a better local one comes up in future I can switch?
Or can someone let me know where to fund the guidance for pbs dependant? Used to be online but I think they have taken down since the new system went live.
Worst case I will submit the additional docs as I feel appropriate but sometimes submitting over and beyond what required can open up unnecessary questions.
From what I gather in other posts, absences are not important for PBS dependants applying for ILR. I have just realised that my check list doesn't even require photos! My child is applying in the same application with my wife and it doesnt even ask for the birth certificate. How would they know she'...
I am about to submit the online application. Finding it a bit strange that only very few documents being asked to support the application namely:- - Passport - LITUK - Degree certificate - Biometric Residence Permit - Verification forms There is no mentioning of bank cohabitation evidence, payslips ...
