Long Residence ILR first date of application

Hello. Just wanting to make sure I have got these right! I am due to apply for ILR (LR route). I arrived in the U.K. on 23rd August 2009. I believe I am eligible to start applying 28 days before the 10th year anniversary of my arrival (23/8/2019) - which would make that 26/7/19? Is that correct ...

Long Residence ILR and British Citizenship for child

Good evening, Looking for some advice. My husband and I are eligible to apply for ILR via the 10-year long residence route from 23/7/19. Our daughter, who was born in the UK, is on a dependent visa. All our current visas expire on the 4/8/19. We would like to apply for British citizenship for our ...

Tier 2 Dependent to ILR

Looking for some advice please. I am eligible to apply for ILR via the long residence route at the end of July. Over the 10 years I have held a Tier 4, Tier 2 General and currently a Tier 2 dependent on my husband (expires in August). Husband is applying for ILR in June after 5 years on a Tier 2 ...

Re: Calculate 28 days. trying to confirm the earliest submission date

Sorry to hop onto this, but is the earliest submission date the date to submit the online form, or the date when we submit our documents/enrol biometrics if we choose to do it in person at UKVCAS?

Re: Citizenship for Child Born Before Parents Obtained ILR

Also, just thinking ahead - her Tier 2 dependent is valid until August 2019, if we do not hear about her citizenship status by then, what should we do?

Citizenship for Child Born Before Parents Obtained ILR

Good afternoon. I have a few queries about applying for citizenship/British passport for my child who was born in the UK last year. She currently has a Tier 2 dependent visa as both of us are on a Tier 2. We are eligible for our ILR applications in June. Am I right to think that after we are granted ...

Re: Tier 2 Dependent from within the UK

@anilisanil Thanks for your reply. Oh dear, did not think of sending a self-addressed return envelope at the time! Would it be too late to do so now you think? Should we just leave it be and just wait for the documents and BRP to be returned? Been feeling quite anxious about this whole thing as ...

Re: Tier 2 Dependent from within the UK

Thanks for your reply. Yes we enrolled baby's biometrics immediately after submitting the application. We were just wondering if it's usual for them not to send a letter of acknowledgment/receipt. So do we just expect for her documents + BRP to be sent back via post without any notification if all ...

Tier 2 Dependent from within the UK

Hello all, Quick questions for those who have applied for tier 2 dependent visas from within the UK. We both have tier 2 general visas and have applied for a dependent visa for our newborn baby (born here on the UK). Sent this off 6 weeks ago by postal service. Questions are: 1) Did you receive any ...
