On the card is Stamp 4 EUFAM and on the outcome letter stated for 10 years.

No ,your wife card will be exactly the same as previous card..no "permanent 'words attached on it and it will expire following the ages of her passport and she can go and renew to get the rest later when she have a new passport.

No fee for this.Happened to me also as some didn't know the rules so I showed him an email to confirm there is no fee for this from EU treaty officer.

Your baby didn't have Irish passport? I thought Irish citizen can pass through children if one of parent is Irish.

Sorry I am not allowed to names any solicitors in this board ,plus even if I could I would not recommend _to you as he fail to appeal once in UK then told her to moved here then suggested one Irish lawyer that probably same type of _not catch up work in time for appeal ,

Exactly same refusal reason that my mom friend had...she was reject twice one from UK and one in Ireland ( waiting on appeal) seem INIS is very strict with this regulation on British familes as they may be think British citizens might use this regulation pave their way to UK.

I don't want to be cheeky but just last August i travelled to UK via ferry from Belfast and no border control or whatever there which is quite surprised me as i prepared all paperwork ( EU residence card) ready if asked. You could check if you need visa on UK home office website.
