Re: What to do if my visa is delayed

Hi xcycl,

Thanks for the information. Can you tell me which website do you get this information and where does the employer need to send/email this request to?

Thank you very much.

Re: What to do if my visa is delayed

Hi Sammujaan, Thanks for your reply. Was your MP ready to help? I might try to email mine then. It’s ridiculous isn’t it. When did you receive the email saying that it is complex and need more time? Before 8 weeks or after? And did they ask for any further documents from you? I will update you and h...

Re: Delay in In Country Postal priority Applications

My standard postal application of changing employer is delay too. It’s my 10th week now. When I called UKVI centre, they only send me an email: Our records show your application has not yet been completed. We are unable to advise when a decision will be made but you will be notified in writing once ...

Re: My IHS charge was partially refunded. Why?

I heard that they will partially refund you the IHS charge from previous visa automatically if you are lucky, so in my opinion your visa is definitely completed.

Re: What to do if my visa is delayed

I've been through this and it's super frustrating. Sorry to say but all you can do is wait. I don't know if contacting your MP would be helpful, maybe someone would experience here could answer. I believe requesting your passport back at this stage would consider your application withdrawn Thanks f...

What to do if my visa is delayed

Is anyone else’s visa got delayed? I applied standard postal for Tier 2 extension (switch employer) and it’s the 9th week now. I contact the UKVI center and only got a useless email as below: Thank you for contacting UKVI Contact Centre. Our records show your application has not yet been completed. ...

Re: Tier 2 change of employer - visa still pending, start date on CoS has passed

Hello,

Thanks for the reply. Once I receive my BRP, is it mandatory for my new employer to update home office my real start date.

Will home office find out that I’m still working for the old employer 28 days after the issue date of BRP?

Tier 2 change of employer - visa still pending, start date on CoS has passed

Hello, I applied for a new Tier 2 visa via standard service 4 weeks ago. My original start date on the CoS (15/7/18) has passed and I am still waiting for my new Tier 2 visa approval (another 4 weeks probably) The start date is unrealistic. Would this invalid start date cause a problem in my applica...

Some questions related to switching employers

Hi, I am in a tight situation. I go for standard service. I am still waiting for the new visa and I also haven’t given notice to my old employer. They already knew I am leaving but ask me to give notice later. The start date in my new CoS was 15/7/18 and it is 22/7 now. Will the start date in New BR...
