Re: UK/EU or Overseas Fees

See http://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/graduate/fees-and-funding/fees-and-other-charges/fee-status# I'm not an EU national but my partner is German and we live in the UK. Can I pay fees at the Home/EU rate? If you are married or in a civil partnership, you may qualify to pay fees at the Home/EU rate. If...

Funds must be in an account that bears the name of the applicant. If your UK account is a joint one, that would do as well.
Problem here is, getting the bank statements authorised by the bank. You will need to send it to the applicant. Do discuss this with your university visa team as well.

Re: Tier 2 ICT dependent to Tier 4 General (Bachelor or Master level)

As Tier 4 dependent, you are eligible to work full time (See paragraph 319D(b)(iii) of the Immigration Rules). You will have to discuss with your employer if they can allow you to continue in your current role. I believe this is possible only if the Tier4 Student is applying for a course which is a...

Re: Travelling outside UK during term time

It is always good if you can get your absence authorised by the university as they are your sponsors. I would like to know whether it is safe to travel outside UK during term time, so that I don't face any immigration issues? Unauthorised absences with poor attendance record will lead to immigration...

Case1: 1. Can my wife apply for Tier 4 Student Visa now (from home country) and switch from Tier2-ICT dependent spouse to Tier4 (General) student? Yes a. Once her application is successful if I apply to switch from Tier2-ICT to Tier 4 dependent with in UK, will I get ‘right to work’ in UK as her de...

Re: Can I apply for tier 4 visa if rejected from tier 2 partner visa?

Hi, I'm just wondering if it is possible to apply for a tier 4 student visa if I don't receive a tier 2 partner visa that I am applying for? I already have acceptance into a postgraduate program that can sponsor a tier 4 visa. In case if your Tier 2 Dependant visa is declined, you can apply for Tie...

Re: Bank statement Urgently Needed for Tier visa 4 application

Funds need to have been held for a period of AT LEAST 28 DAYS before the application. As it says "before the application", most applicants, to be on safer side, wait for the end of 28th day and submit the application on 29th day, which is fine too. That's what your univ advisor has said. In your cas...

Re: Bank statement Urgently Needed for Tier visa 4 application

Off topic but would know how 28 consecutive days are counted? For example, is today the 21th to tomorrow the 22nd considered 1 day or two consecutive days? If the first day for your funds is 21st Dec then 28th day falls on 17th Jan 2019. You can submit statements with your visa application on the s...

Re: Bank statement Urgently Needed for Tier visa 4 application

They are saying the UKVI only accepts bank statements from a company that is international and trading in more that one country. This is to avoid anyone claiming to hold funds from a dodgy company. As you know, UKVI accepts bank statements only from its approved banks. My case is not a letter of sp...

Re: Bank statement Urgently Needed for Tier visa 4 application

bank statement with an account name of a company owned by my father, if not how do I go about this? Your case is peculiar as rules say the bank statement must have the name of your parent. You will have to ask your sponsor if UKVI will allow your application if you could prove them the company is o...

See Tier 4 Policy Guidance version 11/2018 page 51 of 101 199. You can use money held in an account owned by you or by your parents or legal guardian. If you are a Tier 4 (General) Student and using funds held by your parent(s)/legal guardian(s), you will need to show us evidence that you are relate...

Re: Tier 4 Visa Curtailed and I made a wrong statement to University

On friday 14th of December I receive an email from my University stating that they are curtailing my visa because I did not attend to a lot of classes Universities cannot curtail visas as only the Home Office does. Univ will report to UKVI about a student's continued absence. The University replied...

Re: PBS Tier 4 Dependent Admin review

I meant "genuine and subsisting" goes together when evaluating an application. Genuine but not subsisting is uncommon. So I thought it is good to check the basics, especially when twice rejected based on same reason with wrong marriage date mentioned. It appears OP and spouse have spent years togeth...

You're right. That's why I mentioned "if you are unable to apply online" but didn't specify the country due to following clause given in the guidance. In Tier 4 Policy Guidance version 11/2018 page 15 of 101, point 9 it says: "If, due to exceptional circumstances, you have made a paper application ....

As your wife's delivery date is barely a month, you need to check with the airlines if they will allow your wife to travel.
