Re: Date for ILR application for FLR 5 year

Quick question. We are having a little difficulty with my wife's travel history for her ILR application. The reason is that she travels quite a lot for business and has lost the ticket stubs for several of her flights. We were directed to the UK.gov Request personal information held in the borders, ...

Re: Date for ILR application for FLR 5 year

We are just finishing up the last of the documents we need to acquire to apply for my wife's ILR. We have been on the FLR(m) 5 year rout, and we have been collecting proof of cohabitation letters. We have come up a little short, as the only documents we could provide for my wife were a Tax letter, h...

Re: Date for ILR application for FLR 5 year

Weird questions, as I am getting conflicting information. I have seen people claim that they have used digital bank statements without a stamp from the bank, despite the Gov.uk website specifically stating that if you are using digital statements, these need to be printed and stamped by the bank, bu...

Re: Date for ILR application for FLR 5 year

Another Quick question,
I currently get all my payslips digitally, and they do not have a company letterhead.
Is this going to be an issue?

Re: Date for ILR application for FLR 5 year

Re: Date for ILR application for FLR 5 year

Another quick question I have been wondering. My wife is currently studying for the Life in the UK test, and I was wondering how long you usually have to wait from the time you book the appointment, till the actual test, as we are planning on applying for the ILR in March and we don't want to get st...

Volunteer work while on FLR(m)

My wife is currently on the second leg of her 5 year plan to ILR. She has been asked to help volunteer at a local charity, and I was wondering if this is allowed or if this would create an issue when she goes to apply for ILR. She currently works full-time, but this would be with her spare time. Any...

Re: Date for ILR application for FLR 5 year

Thank you so much. One other quick question, to which I believe I know the answer. During the 5 years my wife has been on her FLR(M), she has had to leave the country several times for business, and to visit her mother abroad. Will this time spent overseas factor into the 5 years she has been livin...

Re: Date for ILR application for FLR 5 year

Hello Board. We are just getting the Documents ready for my wife's application for ILR, but we want to make sure that we time this right. My wife arrived in the UK on 20/04/2019, and I was under the impression that she would be applying 28 days before 20/04/2024, but her BRP has a different expiry ...

My wife and I are looking into adopting a child from Turkey. I am a UK Citizen, and my wife is currently on the FLRM as a spouse. We were wondering how this would affect her visa, and also how we would go about getting a visa for the child

FLR Working abroad

My wife successfully received her FLR(m) extension in February, and has recently received an opportunity to work abroad in an EU country. I am aware that there (as far as I Know) is no 180 day rule that applies to her application for ILR, but we were wondering how hard it would be for her to get her...

Re: Family or Visitor visa

We are trying to decide between a 6 month and 12 month visa. but we have a few questions: 1. If she gets the 12 month visa, does she have to leave after 6 months? 2. It's her first time in the UK, is it risky to go longer rather than shorter? 3. I am a British citizen, but my wife has a FLR and we w...
