You're looking at the requirements the wrong way round. The requirements count backwards from the date of application for naturalisation. You need a) to have held settled status (ILR/PR) in the UK for at least one year preceding the date of application. b) to meet the respective absence requirement...

does it start counting since the issue date of the biometric card? or does it start counting from the date that is written in the letter received from the Home office?

I am a 100% sure that the 5 years period starts from the date you got married, because by law you became a family member of an EEA since the date you got married, so start counting from the date of the wedding.... i am sure cause I was in the same situation and I seeked for legal advice, so they inf...

FROM WHEN START COUNTING THE PERMANENT RESIDENCE PERIOD

HEY GUYS

I have a question:

from when start counting then permanent residence period (the holding of this status) to be more specific, since the moment the Biometric card is issued ?? or since the Date that is shown in the letter received from homme office when it was granted????
