I have another option:

Delhi to Dubai + Dubai to Glasgow

Is customs/immigration relatively quicker/easier at Glasgow when compared to London?

Thanks Neil! I have few more questions, i hope I am not bothering you too much. Is immigration quicker/easier at Glasgow as compared to that in London? I see that most airlines allow at the most 25-30 Kg check-in luggage. Since I am moving there for a long time I will definitely end up with more lug...

Hello Vijay, I am from India. I am an MBA and a computer engineer and I hold an HSMP. The current average salary for my profile is around GBP 50,000. Its not as easy to get a job being in India and my company is getting a relatively cheap resource. Well....its a win-win situation. So I don't mind. I...

Hi Vijay and Rajesh,

Thanks for the earnest reply.

I am into Risk Management (Finance). And the offer letter says that I should be returning GBP 3,000 in case I leave the company before 1 year. But as per you suggestion I will give a more detailed look at the offer letter.

Cheers!

MEDICAL CHECK-UP BEFORE LANDING IN THE UK IS NOT REQUIRED. The envelope is for the X-ray etc if you wish to submit it along with you EC application. Since the illiterate morons at VFS are totally useless they would have sent "empty" envelope with the application. Seems one thing is common across all...

NHS Medical benefits for HSMP candidates

Hi Friends, My specific questions are: 1. Does an HSMP candidate have to pay for NHS/GP medical facilities? 2. If No, then do the dependents also get the same benefits? 3. If the candidate has to pay what are the average GP/Hospital charges? I think there is a lot more to it other than the above thr...

I called HO on the same issue and they confirmed that this is correct. However it is recommended that the candidate should enter UK in the first year of the EC visa so that he/she is able to qualify(on past earning parameter) for FLR.

I don't think you will need a CA certificate. At VFS they will ask for your bank account details. Just mention all four accounts. that will be enough. CA statement is most submitted by those who are showing funds in instruments other than cash like PF/Mutual funds/Stocks/etc. I had shown 3000 GBP in...

Vishal, If I were you I would just sit tight and wait for the EC decision. As far as I know Integra verification needs to be done INDEPENDENTLY. Meaning: "The candidate should not be involved in any step of the verification process". In case you express your knowledge of events before the decision, ...

GNitin, You are probably right here when it come to a formal "Express" procedure. you might have requested about your application to the VFS reps, they are generally very un-helpful. I enquired BDHC in Mumbai about a fast-track option and the lady said that they do not have any such option. Neverthe...
