Re: British Citizenship - Overstay??

Thanks Vinny. Also would the home office know that I actuall...

British Citizenship - Overstay??

Hi all, I wonder if I can get some help regrading the following - Did I overstay at any point which might affect my application for neutralisation in August? I came to the UK on a student visa 09/2007 valid until 01/09/2010. New application for extension sent on time and raised by HO on 01/09/2010 -...

Hi all, I’m renewing my travel document and have a couple of queries if anyone can help please. Re photographs, I understand one needs to be certified and signed by a professional person... is the 2ned one to be left blank? Is a chartered accountant validated to sign the declaration? Also, the secti...

Re: Good Character for British Citizenship

Hi xavieryves, Thanks for your reply. How did you work out the 16 days overstay... an application was made on time on 01/09/10, and as far as I am aware you're not overstaying as long as your application is in processing? Am I right? The application invalidity date is 10/09/10 but I received it on 1...

Hi all, I have a question following the grant of ILR and wondering if anyone previously in a similar situation can help. I applied in on 22/05/18 and was granted ILR on 15/08/2018 stating Refugee Settlement and Indefinite Leave to Remain in the remarks. I am now looking to apply for a travel documen...

Re: SET (Protection) Route applications

Hi, providing you posted your application to the right address, you should receive an acknowledgment letter of receipt (maybe give it s a few more days) and a letter asking for your piometrics. Check your Junk inbox, that’s where emails from HO usually come to. Did you apply yourself? If through a s...

Re: SET (Protection) Route applications

@taah4 I wonder if you can give some clues about what kind of info your lawyer enclosed with your application? I also applied through a lawyer which was silly as it’s a very straightforward process and from what I’ve realised people are reviving quicker replies if they applied by themselves. I wonde...

Hi PPTP, sorry to hear about that. The wait surely is annoying. Did they give a reason?
How did you originally apply, did you add anything to you original claim?

Re: SET (Protection) Route applications

@Mahdis I applied and done my biometrics around the same time as you. Re: SET (Protection) Route applications

Hi Rim, When did you send your application? You usually receive an email within a couple of weeks from the date you post your application (letting you know that you’ll get a letter to enroll your biometrics). Again, In a couple of months you receive another email that your application is still under...

Re: SET (Protection) Route applications

Hi PPTP,
I can imagine how frustrating it can be... that’s 6 months now, have you contacted them as it’s past their time standard?
Did you apply through I solicitor in Feb and have you received any emails from them?
