Re: You have not submitted a valid immigration application

Hi all, I have now received the acknowledgement letter. However, there is also a separate mail given to me saying that I have not submitted a valid immigration application, asking me to supply the missing evidence within 10 working days. The missing document they cited was: - You have not sent all t...

Re: Acknowledgement Letter Waiting Time?

So I guess I'll only start asking questions after 8 months service standard? If so, when is that calculated from? From the point we submitted the online application (which apparently is the 'official' application date) or from the point they received supporting documents?

Re: Acknowledgement Letter Waiting Time?

Yes, I tracked the parcel and it was received and signed "RMREALY" (not sure what that stands for). However, I have seen (in other threads) there were cases where UKVI have misplaced documents and didn't process it, and in the end UKVI sends a letter saying that their application has been cancelled ...

Acknowledgement Letter Waiting Time?

Hi all, Does anyone know roughly how long it takes after sending our supporting documents before we receive an acknowledgement letter? I have sent mine on 20th August and not received anything back to confirm that they have my documents. This was an online application where I had to post my supporti...

Re: Proof of partner's immigration status FLR(M)

Hi all. One of the question asked for proof of partner's "immigration status", and suggested to provide the partner's "current passport". However, the passport was only recently renewed 4 months ago and did not contain any stamps. Would this be a problem? Should we also submit the previous passport...

Online FLR(M) Application - Photocopy of Supporting Documents

Hi all, I've now prepared (hopefully) all the required supporting documents, after submitting the online application form on the weekend. You are overthinking!! It is fine.
Is there a 28 days rule for the items of correspondence also? That is the latest letter must not be dated more than 28 days from the date of application?

Re: Long names shortened on letters! (Items of Correspondence)

Hi all, My partner and I have very long names. Due to this, our names are often modified (abbreviated or shortened) on the letters that we are supplying as part of the evidence of 2 years cohabitation. Assume the following examples (not our real names): My name: Wyihto Kinto Han Barasmi Havo My spo...

Re: Will I get Refunded for invalid online application FLR(M)?

As per the above thread, the English test is taken *after* the online application was submitted. So on the application form I answered Yes to passing En...

Re: English A2 Certificate After Online Application Submitted!

I have read in other threads that people get their application rejected because they submitted the latest payslip which shows a date later than date of the application submitted online, so it was not considered. Another thread says their application rejected because they have not put in the UKVI ele...

Re: English A2 Certificate After Online Application Submitted!

Not a 'new' rule, announced in 2016 and came into effect in May 2017. The FLR(M) guidance notes state it clearly. https://www.immigrationboards.com/immigration-for-family-members/important-statement-of-changes-english-a2-language-t219289.html The online application certainly did not get updated to ...

However, after submitting the form and paid the fee, I realised that the IHS reference I provided was wrong (I input the previous IHS reference used for the initial spouse visa). After re...
