Re: Minimum salary question - very confused!

Thank you srsw, however my concern lies with the sentence "whichever is higher". So between the band scale and the £30k, the £30k is obviously higher. That is why I am wondering if there is any exclusion for NHS bands or my situation. But I guess I will just have to take the chance to apply and hope...

What's the SOC code and it's salary requirements for this role?
SOC code 2221, minimum salary according to bands (table 9 of appendix J) - for me it is Band 6 = £28050.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Minimum salary question - very confused!

Hi all, I am confused and stressed about the salary component of the tier 2 Visa application. I have been granted a COS, with salary of £29452(incl. HCLA). I am a physio, and the job is band 6 NHS post. Working hours 37.5 p/w. The COS is for 3 years. I am 27 years old. I have not yet applied for my ...

Re: Tier Visa Application on gov.uk website

Hi @UKandBeyond, sorry for dropping in on this message. I saw you are also a NHS applicant- do you mind if I ask which profession? Also - I am also on 29 pts (salary £29k), got my COS approved. However, I am still unsure whether my VISA will be approved due to the minimum threshold being £30k? I kno...

Specific time when dependant must apply for visa?

Hi all,

I am planning to apply for a Tier 2 Visa soon, and I just want to know whether my dependant must apply with me or can he apply at a later stage?

Is there any rule stating that dependants must apply within a certain period of time after the main application?

Thanks for the help!

Good morning everyone! Just received the great news 10 minutes ago. RCoS approved for 29 points, non-everything. 😊👍🏻

For those waiting with the same points and even lower, keep having faith!!! ♥️
This is great news! May I ask what field you are in and what your salary is?

Re: RCOS points vs TIER 2 VISA points

Thank you! So the £30k rule for TIER 2 Visa is not applicable then?

You have just made my day.

RCOS points vs TIER 2 VISA points

Hi all, I am awaiting RCOS approval (3rd time application). My salary is £29k (NHS - physio, non-sol, non milkround). So I think I am at 29 pts. Although we are hoping points for RCOS will drop this month, and say I do get RCOS approved, will I not just get rejected for TIER 2 VISA as my salary is n...
