Once I have finished the MN1 form and paid my fee, do I have to send my son's foreign passport to the Home Office straight away? we are planning some holidays and hence asking. Do we ge...

Re: Applying for BC for my 4yo son - I have settled status- Self sufficiency

Yes that is the correct link. It says the referee has to have known the applicant for 3 years. also, if it is a child it says, one of the referee has to be a professional who has interacted with the child in a professional capacity. My son has been to nursery for only 2 years. Do you think it is fin...

I went ahead and provided details of my employment as a dad.

Now they want a referee. is this required for 4yo children? have I clicked on the wrong form?

6 months validity rule and pre settled status

Hi,

My wife has pre-settled status and her passport expires in 5 months. Can we travel outside the UK and return with her passport. I am pretty sure she can but she insists on some official website to confirm.

Regards.

Re: I am on settled status. Wife on pre-settled. married for 6Y. can she apply for settled?

Thanks for the answer.

Considering that we might leave the UK in the summer just 3 months before she will complete 5y here. Can she apply 3 months early knowing that she is allowed to be 6 months outside of the UK?

If not, can she apply from outside the UK?

I am on settled status. Wife on pre-settled. married for 6Y. can she apply for settled?

As per title, Just got my settled status as did my son. My wife in non EU and she joined me 4 years ago initially as non-EU family member and then later got her pre-settled status. Can she apply for settled status? or does she have to wait for 5y in the UK? (we have been married for 6y)

Thank you.

Re: View, Prove and Update your EU Settlement Scheme status and details

I am a bit surprised.

I travelled with my non EU wife to Morocco in the summer and she was allowed back no issues.

I am an EU citizen, she has a BRC used under EU law which expires in 2023 and we both have pre settled status.

Was she lucky or did I misunderstand the point?
