Thanks for the thoughts guys. Any further thoughts on... whom and how to lodge a formal complaint are very much appreciated. I dont want anyone else to go through the same experience as I did. Yes! They had to accept a copy, I guess.

They have attested a colour copy ( Luckily I kept one) and said I could use it for future purposes.

Nothing YET. V frustrated.

They said 8 weeks for the entire process on their website. its been 7 weeks and my application has not even been acknowledged.

Hope to hear from them soon.

The postal orders are not cashed yet either.

Smatt, I have called postal order section of Postoffice on 01246542091. They are pretty good. They ask for Voucher code and tell you straight away if thats been cashed. Hope this helps. However, the only differnce I see here is that my wife has been in living in the country since 2005 legally. 2005-Aug2009 as a work permit holder and Aug2009-Aug2011 on spouse visa, on ILR since Aug2011. Thats good to know. Yes she has passed the KOL test prior to her FLR(M) 2 years ago. I understand it is valid for life time, isnt it?

it was religious and Legal. We have the marriage certificate to confirm that. And the certificate was issued in english.
