Hi, I understand there is a general rule that applies to all immigration applications, where you can apply 28 day before reaching the end of the qualifying period (60 months). I cant seem to find any evidence that this applies specifically to SET(m) 5 year route applications. Is there anywhere that ...

ILR SET (M) Surname Discrepancy in Documents

hello, I'm currently applying for ILR Set(M) There is a surname discrepancy between my payslips and my bank statements and i'm concerned it may cause a problem. Basically, for all official purposes (i.e bank accounts, utilities etc.) I use my family surname, which is still in my passport. However fo...

Re: SET (m) ILR English language requirement

You do of course risk being refused ILR due to not submitting NARIC for a foreign degree and losing the ILR fee (yes, there have been many refusals for this very reason). If ILR is refused, you then risk HO putting you on the FLR(FP) 10 year partner route and you will need to pay £1000 IHS for this...

Re: SET (m) ILR English language requirement

A masters degree from university of Cape Town this is ok Why do you say that. It is a foreign degree and needs NARIC red route. Hi, My question is: Do I need to provide the NARIC verification if the degree alone (without NARIC verification) was previously accepted as part of my successful FLR appli...

Re: ILR Fees for Priority Service

Thanks for the speedy reply.

Is there only an option for 'super priority'?
Does the option for 'priority service' not exist for an ILR application?

Spousal Visa minimum Validity for re-enrty to UK

Hi,

is there a minimum validity required on a spousal visa for re-entry into the uk.

I will be going abroad for 2 weeks and when i return there will be 2 month validity on my spousal visa.

I'm assuming this is not a problem i am currently settled in uk and applying for ilr once my visa expires.

Re: SET (M) - ILR Application Date

I see that the immigration rules state: E-ILRP.1.3. (1) Subject to sub-paragraph (2), the applicant must, at the date of application, have completed a continuous period of either: (a) at least 60 months in the UK with:' this kind of contradicts the 28days prior? Is there somewhere that clearly sets ...

Hi, I am in the process of preparing my application for ILR as a spouse of a British partner. My salary is well over the minimum requirement, and I am wondering if I can rely on this alone, without providing any information from my partner?
