Fellowship as study route

My brother has pursued his fellowship in ophthalmology (eye speciality). Can this fellowship be counted as a study period? He is planning to show his earnings prior to this fellowship, if the fellowship is considered as a study course.

The fellowship was done from the hospital and was on the job

Mistake by ECO - visa start date

I had asked for the Tier 1 visa to be stamped from 15/2/2009, however it seems that the ECO did not see that I had clearly mentioned this on the covering letter and stamped the visa starting from 7/1/2009. I requested them to issue visa starting from 15/2/2009 as I will need to serve a month's notic...

Seems positive, good luck kundalak.

Did you ask for the visa to be stamped at a later date? If yes, please check the start date as there was a problem with my start date.

Not sure how long would this take. Anybody emailed Mumbai BDHC?

I had a similar problem when filling up the form. I asked the VFS guy what should I do about it, he told me to complete the information in the column somehow. He was not really helpful, however I understand that they are only there to accept our application and pass it to the BHC and nothing else.

Re: 48K for Dependant

It is absolutely ridiculous, that when dependants apply separate have to pay 48000 Rs. They are not doing any points calculation, they just check documents like workpermit/ HSMP dependant or any other dependant like PSW visas. I cant get my head around why we are paying 48K, BHC gaining quiet a lot...

Sorry, but this is not to offend anyone, I have been seeing a lot in this forum that people try to make simple things too complicated.

Please do not do this at least for the sake of other members, just follow the guidance notes and you'll be fine.

Previous earnings - last day of your 12 month period

Maintenance funds - there are no clear guidelines on it in the guidance notes, however the date of application or a day prior to that is advisable.

It is not required as your qualifications are recognised as per the self assessment tool.

Please don't mind, but we would appreciate if you can post all your application queries at one go so that it becomes easier for us to post the answers at one go rather than having different threads for it.
