work permit sponsor charging 31%

Hi,
I am currently in the uk as an It contractor. The company which has sponsored my work permit charge a massive 31% of my daily rate. I am very keen to change the company. Can someone please send me details of other companies that sponsor workpermits.

invoices not on comp letterhead

My invoices are printed on plain white paper and they are signed and stamped. They are not printed on company letterhead. Will this be a problem?

Hi All, I want to claim points for the duration Jun 2006 to Dec 2006 My contract duration however was Mar 2006 to Oct 2006. But my payslips were always late and the corresponing payslips are dated between Apr 2006 to Dec 2006. My question is can I clain for Nov and Dec 2006 even though it falls outs...

In case of IT contractors who are paid a daily rate, what exactly is the monthly gross pay? For example, If I get a daily rate of 250 , can I say that the gross pay per month ( for a 20 day month) is 20 * 250= 5000 pounds ? Thanks for your reply. I will apply as an independent contractor then.
I managed to get the P45 from Giant. Hope the home office considers the P45. I do not work for Giant anymore but during the period for which I am claiming past earning, I was working for Giant.
