Re: ILR SET(LR) Sent during Sept.

I had an email this morning from DX that my BRP is on route to me today.
My payment for Postal to premium upgrade was taken on the 20th. I hope this gives hope to everyone waiting for theirs. All the best.

That is really sad news. They must be dealing with old applications and hence our application has still remained in queue. What is the option now?
If it doesn't cost you anything and you have nothing to loose by trying, keep trying.

Re: Long Residence (10 years) SET (LR) applications

Posting my application timeline with a successful outcome as this site helped me a lot and I believe my post could help others. At first I tried getting a premium appointment as I felt the cost was justifiable rather than wait up to 6 months for a decision but I couldn't get one. I tried staying up...

Perhaps this might be of help to you

What visa are you currently on? Does it restrict you from working at a new employer?

I am not an expert in the subject matter.

Hi ssathyr, Have you tried writing to your local MP? I tried writing to my local MP and his staff got back to me on his behalf. They informed me that they have contacted the UKVI (as I had requested) and they hope to hear back from the UKVI within a month (or sooner). I'm hopeful. I can relate to yo...

Re: Long Residence (10 years) SET (LR) applications

Hello everyone, I've read a number of useful posts on this forum and this thread in particular. So I thought of sharing my ILR(LR) application experience thus far. I had to opt for the postal route as I couldn't find an appointment 28 days before the 10 year anniversary. This is despite the fact of ...

Re: Successful Premium Upgrade Experience

Hi all,

I have a question on filling out the postal to premium upgrade form. Do you think the reason for upgrade has any bearing on the success of the application, or is it purely based on luck (first come first serve)?

Thanks
