Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Having completed my FBR and Passport journey, my wife has asked if I can help her with her FBR application. This clearly makes me a glutton for punishment. Her application has a problem that I thought I might share with this forum in the hope that her issue is not unique. The circumstances are prett...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

It seems to me that all Passport Express do, apart from performing some perfunctory checks, is package up and send the application to Cork. There would appear to be no other priority treatment given to a Passport Express application. So, it would seem wholly logical to send the application directly ...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Does anyone know about passport express service in Liverpool? If I use that service, do I need to get my documents countersigned or will the staff at the post office do it for me? Waiting patiently for my certificate to arrive (conformed address last week!) Hi, I used Passport Express in Liverpool ...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Good Evening, I'm pleased (and perhaps a little surprised) to say that my FBR Certificate arrived in the post today, dated 11th September. That makes it almost exactly 51 weeks since I received the email confirming receipt of my application. So, now on to the passport application. I propose travelli...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Good Morning All, I'm delighted to say that I received the Confirmation of Address email this morning. My Application Received email was dated 20th September, so I am nine days short of a year. Once I am in receipt of my FBR Certificate I will confirm the date entered on it. It looks to me as if the...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

As of today I am 10 months 23 days. No queries. Ian Ian, you seem one of the closest applicants on here to me, I sent off in September via London. Are you via London too? I have a good feeling it is imminent, hoping it is the case! I'd be shocked if this spills into a full 12 months. Here's hoping,...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Hi, That was the number I used. Please could I have the phone number? I have tried ringing +353 1671 1633 but that's the passport office. Thanks Good Evening to all Fellow FBR applicants, I thought that I might share both my timeline and recent experience with the DFA. I submitted my online applicat...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Good Evening to all Fellow FBR applicants, I thought that I might share both my timeline and recent experience with the DFA. I submitted my online application on 22nd August 2018 and sent my documentation to the London Embassy on 16th September. I received the 'confirmation of receipt' email on 20th...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration?

Like many others, I have been following this forum with interest. I submitted my application (and received the email confirming receipt) in early September, so I am approaching my six-month anniversary. I have read the accounts of increasingly inconsistent statements from the DFA with some concern. ...
