Re: passport delivery options

I'll answer my own question: I called them, they cannot change delivery address over the phone, but not to worry the delivery company will call/text and schedule a date/time when the passport is delivered and I will sign for it. Good luck to all !

passport delivery options

I have applied for passport at the time of Documents submission, paid 85 pounds. How does it get sent, is it certified, signature required mail? If not, can I call them and pay for this? I don't want it lost or not delivered. Also, is it possible to ask them to send it to my work, where it will be s...

Re: updating debit card for passport application

I called HMPO and they told me the fee was processed. I went through my bank statements and found that my card was charged approximately a month after I applied. I thought the fee was 95 pounds when it was actually 85 pounds on my statement, that's why I missed it before. I don't know if this means ...

Re: updating debit card for passport application

I tried calling the Passport Office before, after I got the new debit card, they couldn't answer my question and did not take my reference number over the phone. I'll try them again, thanks.

Re: updating debit card for passport application

Or maybe it's better to email them and ask? I think if you call it asks if you've applied over 6 months ago to get a live person on the line

Thank you very much

updating debit card for passport application

The card I put on the passport application during the NDRS appointment is no longer valid. Is there a way to update it? I can see from other posts that passport fees are debited before the receipt of approval letter, I wonder if this could be causing delays

Re: No approval for August Application yet

I applied a month before you and nothing. Just forget it and wait until 6 months then you can contact HO and ask

Re: Change Of Address

I filled out the form and got confirmation in two days acknowledging they've updated my records. Very efficient. I would also suggest apply for mail forwarding which you can do online from the post office, this way you won't miss any correspondence, if any, from HO. Good luck, I've also been waiting...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

Looking at July/Aug 2018 timelines, many getting their approvals in less than a month. Is this norm these days or they're lucky? I thought mine was straightforward, Tier2/ILR, one job all these years, no extended absences etc, and nothing yet, it's been nearly two months.

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

Thanks Yr206

I called passport hotline and they told me to call HO. I'll email them as you suggested

What's the difference between these two email addresses, which one is better for address change inquiries?

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

Hi all, my application is coming up on 50 days of processing, I can see some people who have applied after me have gotten their approvals already. I changed my address a couple of weeks ago and filled out online form. I am a bit worried though if I missed any communication from the HO, and would li...
