Police registration during lockdown

I moved to a new place and updated my address online in GOV website. I also uploaded some documents on my area police website to book an appointment but there is no slot available. I confused because there is no information about booking an appointment in canceled. Has anyone been in similar ...

Is it possible to submit Tier 2 visa application with recently expired passport ?

I recently lost my tier 2 job and my passport is just expired as well. Given the situation with covid issue a new passport from my country can take more than 3 months! Since I need to at least submit a new tier 2 visa application I am wondering if I get a new job what can I do to at least apply for ...

Re: How Tier 2 5 years is calculated for ILR?

In my COS, start date is 01-08-2018 and end date is 31-07-2019 which is when I worked in reality as well. I applied with standard time(no priority) so I received my BRP after around 2 months and the valid BRP date is from 16-10-2018 until 14-08-2019 (notice the end date matched the end date +14 days ...

Re: How Tier 2 5 years is calculated for ILR?

Thank you for your answer. I can see there is a difference between my COS start and end date and the valid date and end date mentioned in my BRP. Just to make sure, the date written in the COS is considered for 5 years tier 2 employement for ILR right?

How Tier 2 5 years is calculated for ILR?

Re: what are the requirements for RLMT excemptions?

I have around 60 days on my visa. The thing is if they advertise the role, I think in this situation, it is very unlikely for them to prove no one was qualified especially given the job market at the moment and the fact that I don't have many years of experience. what if you are younger than 26? Do ...

what are the requirements for RLMT excemptions?

I lost my Tier 2 job a few weeks ago and I am looking for new positions. I know that my job is in the shortage list and my salary range is more than 33k per annum. I checked and it seems to me that since I am in the UK and have all the mentioned criteria, I am exempt from RLMT but a company that I ...

Re: Unrestricted COS issue

I have two questions. I was redundant last months (tier 2) and waiting for my curtailment letter. 1) can you tell how long it took for you personally to get the curtailment letter after your company let HO know about the redundancy? I can be less stressed if I know it will take more than 2 weeks. I ...

How long will it take to receive curtailment letter from the day of redundancy?

Based on what I have found in most places online 60 days is the time you have to find new tier 2 sponsor but it seems like this number can vary(not because you have less than 60 days remained on your visa) and some people received it in 30 days? https://www.immigrationboards.com/uk-tier-2-employer ...
