Is extension an option? I thought that tier 2 was only issued for a maximum of 6 years?

ILR for Tier 2 dependant

Hi, I have a query regarding Tier 2 dependent converting to ILR. My wife has a tier 2 visa (2nd extension) that expires in June 2022. She has been stuck in India since November 2020, although she did come to the UK for a brief period (14th Feb. 2021- 12 march 2021). Prior to that, all her absences f...

Re: Tier 2 dependant now on ILR dependant

Hi Cr001, Many thanks for your help. Can you please further clarify: 1. When my wife completes her 5 years (in march 2020) and applies for an ILR, will she get a refund of health surcharge of 2 years that she has paid in excess? 2. Where can I find more info about the knowledge of English test and t...

Re: New ILR process, Time to decision

Any update with anyone's application who recently submitted using Sopra?
Also, it would be grateful if someone can confirm how are UKVI contacting the applicants about the outcome. i.e.. post or email?

Re: New ILR process, Time to decision

Can someone please confirm how are UKVI contacting the applicant about the outcome of the application. Should I expect an email or will it get the decision by post which means that it will be more than 24 hours due to the postal service speed.

Re: ILR Queries

Can I also please ask about the hours on which this £35,500 is based? Like in tier 2, each salary is based on either 37.5, 39 or 40 hours a week contract based on the category the occupation is in. How many hours are taken as an average for this £35,500 figures as someone doing 45 hours a week earni...
