Tier 2 dependent visa extension. IHS Healthcharge enquiry

Hi,

I am in a very similar position ... my wife's current Tier 2 dependent visa is expiring on 12 Feb 2020 but she will be eligible for ILR in June 2020.

Will it be ok to put the husband's ILR expiry date as June 2020, so that she only has to pay the IHS of 1 year?

Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

Hi xkcdcode Have you managed to get an appointment since? I’m in the same boat, been trying to get an appointment in Norwich (my preferred location- I’m getting a BRP to replace my ILR in my old passport due to job changes) and the surrounding areas but to no avail. I rang the premium line (yes £2....

Re: New Appointment Centre UKVCAS

Is there a trick to get an appointment at local service points? I have been trying for weeks now but there is never an appointment available at my nearest local service points (Norwich, Ipswich, Cambridge, Chelmsford). On their FAQ, Sopra Steria say that new appointments become available daily. Is t...

Interesting case - Proof of cohabitation

Hi Gurus, I got my first Tier 2 General in April 2014, and since then I have applied for and gotten 6 more Tier 2 General visas due to job changes. The last Tier 2 was obtained in April 2017. I am now applying for ILR with my spouse, as our five years are up. In the Set(O) online application form, i...

Re: Ukvcas appointment

If they are not applicants, then they don't need to go. All applicants are required to go. See https://www.gov.uk/guidance/ukvis-new-front-end-services-what-you-need-to-know#appointments-for-ukvcas-centres I also have a question: Can I take my kids with me even when they are not applying? Will they ...

Re: Same day and return for time outside the UK

Hi Casa, Thanks for the quick reply. I hope that's the case, but I do have immigration stamps on my passport that clearly show me leaving and entering UK through St. Pancras station. That's why I am concerned about it, as the form says to fill in any absences, 'however short'! :? The day of departu...

Same day and return for time outside the UK

Hi All, I am applying for ILR online, and filling in my travel history for time spent outside UK. I am having an issue on the site related to one travel item, where I went to Brussels, Belgium and came back to UK on the same day. But the site is not accepting the same day travel and return as a vali...

Dependent's eligibility for ILR application if their 5 years are spent on different types of dependent visas

Me and my spouse came to UK in September 2010 on Tier 4 (Gen) and Tier 4 (Dependent) visas, respectively. In March 2014 , I shifted to a Tier 2 (Gen) visa, but my spouse stayed on Tier 4 (Dependent) as it was still valid till September 2015 . In September 2015 , my spouse shifted to Tier 2 (Dependen...
