Re: New citizenship form UKF

I got the same email in South Africa from TLS when I sent an email to book. I just went and did biometrics without the appointment like they instructed. Was late Dec 2018 Before going for your appointment, did you create an account on TLS website and pay their service charge, just curious ? No the ...

UKM Application : Change of address (new country)

I did biometrics on 27/12/17 and am now at the stage where I am waiting for a decision. Apparently 2 months or so waiting. Then another 2 months or more for invitation and then another wait for passport. I am contemplating moving to Ireland and this could be before decision or maybe after decision a...

Re: UKM question/complication

Not sure if its just me but I dont understand what you are asking - sorry. The UKM application is to register as a British Citizen because the applicant has a mother who is a British citizen (by birth and not decent as far as I understand it) hence the UKM part =UK Mother Your mothers Grandfather is...

Re: UKM application experience and timeline

I am about to send off my docs and I think I am going to include a covering letter requesting they send the docs to a friend in the UK rather than my address in RSA. I hope they read and act on the request. Time will tell......

Re: UKM application experience and timeline

Really would love to know how they send docs back. On the on-line application form they ask for your residential address. Mine is a farm and we do not have postal delivery, I wanted to put a family members address but did not want to be accused of anything funny. There is no section to put a postal ...

Re: UKM application experience and timeline

Hi all Have just completed UKM online application. At the end you get a document checklist and it explicitly states: "any evidence you provide can be originals or copies. If we require passports, these must be original" It seems people have sent certified copies but has anyone done the online proces...
