My passport was printed yesterday and was dispatched today. It was 9 days past the estimated date of March 20th, so this was pretty close!

Passport Update:

As of today, I am now in the tracking system and it says:

"The estimated* issue date for your Passport is: 20/03/2019."

So it seems that the 8 weeks they told me as to when I should receive it may be pretty accurate.

Still nothing so far! I guess that the reduced staff is causing it to take longer now because I would have thought to have heard something by now based on earlier timelines a few months ago.

Just in case this is helpful for anyone who is anxiously keeping track of timelines, the DFA confirmed that they received my application and supporting documents on August 3rd, and I have not heard anything since that time. I am in the USA.
