Non-EEA Family Members Settlement Scheme Confusion

Hi, I am an Irish citizen living in the UK. I already have my non-EEA family members with me here, and they entered the UK on an EEA Family Permit. They are having trouble figuring out how to apply to the EU settlement scheme. They tried the phone app to prove their identity but it keeps telling the...

EEA Family Permit Expiring Question

I am Irish and my wife is non-EEA from the USA (where we currently reside). She just got issued an EEA Family Permit which expires on 13/11/19. We were originally planning on moving together to the UK in July, but we have had to delay our trip until 25/10/19. I want to apply for the EU settlement sc...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

My passport was printed yesterday and was dispatched today. It was 9 days past the estimated date of March 20th, so this was pretty close!

It is good to hear that things are starting to move again with the FBR certificates!

Re: Foreign Birth Registration?

Sean, any update on your passport? My estimated date was 15/3 and as of today it's printing, so only a few days later than they claimed. Hopefully yours isn't far behind! As of today (22/3), the passport tracker still says that my application is being processed. Last Wednesday (20/3) was the estima...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration?

Jaxx22 My application was submitted on August 14th and it has been fully processed - up to and including printing the physical FBR certificate. It's just the postage part that I am dealing with now. Moreover, two U.S. applicants (Sean and Spav) applied in early August and received their FBR certifi...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration?

Passport Update:

As of today, I am now in the tracking system and it says:

"The estimated* issue date for your Passport is: 20/03/2019."

So it seems that the 8 weeks they told me as to when I should receive it may be pretty accurate.

Re: Foreign Birth Registration?

Passport Update: I submitted the passport application in person at the New York consulate. They took my FBR and birth certificate and made copies and handed the originals back to me, and then they told me it would be about 8 weeks to receive the passport. I have the tracking number but I am not in t...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration?

I just received my certificate today! So it took about 3 weeks to arrive after the email notification. I am planning on completing the passport application next week, and I will then drop off the materials at the consulate in New York once I get everything together. Michael123, I hope you hear some ...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration?

I called Dublin this morning. The man said “we are currently reviewing applications that were recieved on 8/9 and yours was recieved on 8/21, there are about 100 ahead of you. So, I would give it about a months time.” So, it appears that Sean015 is being reviewed now maybe even the 2nd stage. Thank...

14 weeks and nothing.. Sean015, any news?
Still nothing so far! I guess that the reduced staff is causing it to take longer now because I would have thought to have heard something by now based on earlier timelines a few months ago.

Re: Foreign Birth Registration?

Just in case this is helpful for anyone who is anxiously keeping track of timelines, the DFA confirmed that they received my application and supporting documents on August 3rd, and I have not heard anything since that time. I am in the USA.
