Re: Online Application - Super Priority Service Option

No, you didn't click anything to remove it, it was just simply not available at the time you were trying to make the payment. You can keep trying to checkout a few times during the day until it appears again. There isn't really a specific time as to when it will show up, but I've seen it multiple ti...

Re: SET LR Super-Priority unavailable?

Hi, I would suggest that you can keep checking until the option pops up. My experience while submitting my application was that it just shows up from time to time. I did my application up to the payment step until I was ready to submit and pay. I was able to see that option almost every time I logge...

3 Part Family Consent for ILR SET (M) not needed?

Hi all, I've just submitted my online application today and I was only asked to download and sign the Declaration for spouses, civil partners, proposed civil partners, fiancé(e)s, and unmarried partners. I remember when submitting my FLR SET (M), I was asked to download and sign the spouse declarati...

not sure about our addresses

I'm going to submit my ILR(SET M) next week and I'm just a bit confused regarding what documents to prepare and upload. We've always lived between two places at the same time, one self-owned and one rental residence. So, in the 2. Application - Addresses with partner - I've put down our home address...

Re: CT600 & Payslips/Bank Statements

You will need to provide onwards as that is evidence that he is still getting the same income as before. That's what we did. Our CT600 was from June to May 2017-2018. But I provided statements, payslips and dividend vouchers all the way up to December 2018 as that was the month l applied for my spou...

I don't think that will be an issue, so don't worry about it. I only provided 3 screen shots of 1 page each. And it was one from Gmail, one from Skype and one from Whats app. 😊

Re: Once arriving in UK.

You don't need to notify the HO cause they will just send the BRP to the post office when it's ready. Usually it would state a date of when it will available on your decision letter. In my own case, I arrived on the 20th of June(the first date of my vignette), but my BRP was not ready for collection...

Re: Spouse Visa - Return of documents

For postal applications, they send acknowledgement letters, not emails. In my case, the acknowledgement letter arrived after the decision letter because the decision letter came enclosed with my supporting documents, which was next day special delivery. So I would assume that you will be getting a d...

Re: Help with A2 test id

I did my B1 in November last year and I just checked both of the emails that they sent me. Neither did the Online Enrolment Confirmation nor the Exam Confirmation email stated about this "emailing our ID 2 days before the test". I did provide my passport number online, but that was it. On the day of...

Re: From Spouse Visa to having a British Passport

WOW, thanks to CR001, I discovered a new piece of information today. I always thought like fitter_happier did, that we need to obtain ILR for a year before applying for citizenship. I've read on the Home Office website multiple times and under Apply for citizenship if your spouse is a British citize...

I don't think this would be a definite refusal or a major reason to fail.
Every application is different and every caseworker has their own opinion.
As long as you have submitted all the correct documents and meet the requirements, it shouldn't be a big issue. :D

Re: Girlfriend Visiting me in the UK, Plans for the future

Yes, it was simply because the immigration officer believed that I wasn't being truthful with him. Being engaged is not a problem at all. If you were engaged, they may ask to see her fiancee visa(which would allow her to get married in the UK). She can just say that she didn't apply for one cause yo...

Re: Girlfriend Visiting me in the UK, Plans for the future

In which case i'm assuming it would be useful if I also provided a letter to detail our circumstance, where she will be staying, that I will be supporting her and provide evidence that I have sufficient income to support her during her visit here? She can just put down your address on the landing c...

Re: Girlfriend Visiting me in the UK, Plans for the future

It would be good if her employer could provide wording of proof, I assume that would make you feel less worried as well. I never had any proof though, They just asked me and I replied verbally. The reason why I think 3-4 months wouldn't be a problem is that I've been doing so for 6 consecutive yrs a...

Re: Girlfriend Visiting me in the UK, Plans for the future

If you are willing to try living together for a shorter period of time, for example 3-4 months, I really don't think that would be a problem. She can say that she's having a long leave and will return back to her job, which is true in many people's cases.

Re: Girlfriend Visiting me in the UK, Plans for the future

Why do you think she will not be allowed entry? Does she not have a job back home? She can also provide a return ticket as proof that she will return home. I have always been allowed in 3-4 months without any problems when I was still dating my husband. Sometimes they didn't even ask to see my retur...
