You need to work out your earning on your own.

Total Earning in UK ( GBP) = UK Allowances ( GBP) + Indian Salary (GBP)

No uplift can be applied to salary received in India while working in UK.

Allowances should be backed by a salary slip.

Hope it helps.

Hi Sushdmehta

Now in point based calculator there is no option of Bachelor degree(min 4 year) and it is replaced by Bachelor degree.

What should an engineering graduate choose now?

Will there be any issue if we choose Bachelor Degree (Hons.)?

Thanks for your help.

Cheers

Query on Bank Statement date for earning Assessment

Hi Friends I have a query on bank statement date. Is it necessary that bank statement should be from 1st of the month? E.g. to prove the salary of Dec 2007 month, my bank statement is starting from 15th Dec 2007 to 14 Jan 2008. Is it ok? I will be claiming points from Dec 2007 to Nov 2008. This stat...

Generally in india degree is issues after few years of passed out so I am still not sure which year to write.

But I think this should be a non-issue as year of award does not decide the points obtained in qualification section.

I think year of award should be same as year of passing. e.g. I passed my BE exam in 97 and degree certificate is signed in 1999.
Thats why my year of award should be 1997 only.

Can any experianced member comment on this?

Letter from University no longer applies to satisfy the english language criteria.

Please check in point based calculator and if you get points in english language then no need to worry.

You can apply based on 8 months earning.

Extract from General Guidance:

83. An applicant may claim for a period of earnings
of less than 12 months if they have earned sufficient
funds to claim the necessary points.

There should not be any problem if you don't submit one payslip as they will not count that amount and you have already indicated that you will still qual...

You can not apply uplift factor on any income earned in India while working in the UK. Total earning while you are working in UK will be

Indian salary earned in India(in GBP) + any UK salary paid in UK(GBP)

For any allowance paid in UK, if it's there in salary slip then I think point can be claimed

If Total Prev Earnings is >£16K then points for UK exp can be claimed as the earning from both the company A & B is earned while working in UK only.
