I've been lurking here since getting my FBR, and just wanted to let everyone know my passport arrived today from the Consulate in New York. I received my certificate in the mail today. A nice Boxing Day present. I already received the application form for the passport from the Consulate, so that will be the next step.

I requested the passport application form from the NY consulate, and received an email that it should be here in 7 - 10 business days.

I just got the email. "Congratulations you are now an Irish citizen". So excited! So Michael123 you shouldn't have too much more of a wait.

Like sean015, I also received my email that the application and supporting documentation were received on August 3. I have not heard anything further, But I see it as "no news is good news".
