Dependent visa Tier 2 Query (end of employment)

Dear community, I am on my spouse's dependent visa. My wife has gotten in job outside of the UK and is expected to leave the UK on March 19th, which will be her last day of employment. Technically, when does my employment end? Is there a grace period for which I can continue to work for, even after ...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

1. That seems strange. I also bank with Natwest. I just went online, and pulled the statements online, which didnt have any password on it. 2. Like others have mentioned, the 'Out of Hours' service, is only available to 'Super Priority Service'. So if you do go that route, you should be able to get...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

1. You can combine PDFs of the statements and submit this online, under 'Financial Proof' as a single file 2. In addition to the Super Priority Service, you can opt for 'Out of hours service'. I personally did the same. To give you an idea, I submitted the online application on the 11th of Jan. Usi...

You are on correct screen, once you select this as you did, you will be presented with payment option and then re direction. if you are not in a hu...

Re: "Tier 2 ICT (Long Term)" to "Dependent Tier 2 General"

Hi All,

I had another question:

1. Can I travel outside the UK, if I have gotten email confirming my application has been approved, but not having received the new BRP? I may need to travel urgently, and my SO will come on later, and carry the BRP, when received?
Is this something I can do?

Re: "Tier 2 ICT (Long Term)" to "Dependent Tier 2 General"

Hi ALL, I have a couple of additional questions (apologize for them being endless) My wife's firm, is paying for my dependent visa, and also applying for me, so this has taken a lot of time. Anyway, I am almost ready to apply, tomorrow or day after and had a couple of questions: 1. I will be using a...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

For all the people who have received the email confirming that their application was successful, how many days after the email, did you get the BRP in your mail?

Thank you in advance.

Re: ICT to Tier2 dependent visa

1) No, she can apply from the UK itself

2) £630

However, there are several other document requirements, which I am sure you have looked into.

I am going through the exact same situation and hoping to get it done in the next 2 weeks!

Re: "Tier 2 ICT (Long Term)" to "Dependent Tier 2 General"

Hi,

I understand the premium services have changed.

In terms of the fees, how much is the premium service now?

Also, what are the timelines, for one to receive the the result, while applying for the visa?

Thanks,
Shashank

Re: Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General Dependent

I had one more question, I have gone through the list of the documentation required, one of which, is the "Sponsor Letter from the spouse".

What is this letter exactly? Can some shed light or refer a link for reference?

Thank you so much in advance.

Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General Dependent

Hi, I want to transfer from the Tier 2 ICT visa to my partner's Tier 2 General Dependent visa. Both of us have been in the UK for more than a year. How do I initiate the process? Do I need to do it online? Or do I need to ask her to ask her firm to initiate the process? Is there any difference to it...

Re: "Tier 2 ICT (Long Term)" to "Dependent Tier 2 General"

Ok got it. So an assessment of the longest timelines possible: A - Upto 1 week from Appointment date for decision on application B - Upto 2 weeks to get new BRP So if I have to make travel plans, I should give myself, at least 3 weeks, and a couple of weeks of buffer on top of that, just to be safe.
