So, my wife is in Azerbaijan, but when she applied there, they advised that all applications have to be sent through the UK, so she had to courier all her documents to me and then i sent them to the application center in Sheffield.

Hi, i am in the same situation as you, applied for my wifes spouse visa on October the 3rd and today received the documents back but no other communications. The wait is killing us! Just wondered if you have heard anything yet about the decision? Or are you still waiting on a reply?
