Hi There

Is there a requirement to get the Pakistan Marriage documents (Nikkah Nama, Translation of Nikkah Nama and Nadra MRC) attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs?

No Surname issue

Hi I hope you are well. I am getting married later in 2019 in Pakistan. My Wife completed her IELTs test using her ID card as proof of ID. My wife only has one name (no family name - Nadra recommended removing her family name as her degrees only had her first name listed...). On her IELTs test, it w...

Re: Category D

Yeah I've decided to go down the savings route. Will have held 62.5k for 6 months when i apply. Only reason i was attaching share certificates and investment reports is because i sold my investments to reach the required level of savings. Basically my account went from like 2k to 62.5k in 3 months. ...

Re: UK Spouse Visa Refused - Reapply using Priority Service?

I know this is an old post but i had a couple of concerns... 1) if the application was fine for all other areas, how did they check that? The Vaf4 form records financials and details of accommodation? 2) does the form need to be taken to the biometrics? I thought that all you need is your passport, ...

Re: Category D worries

Was thinking of meeting via employment but i might just use savings as its a lot easier and less time restrictive (can get bank statements any time).

Re: Criminal Background: PCN

Parking tickets aren't a criminal conviction. 99.99% of people have received them. Anyway - without contacting individual authorities, no one will know about your tickets.

Category D worries

Hi There I was wondering if there will be any questions by the home office/ ECO about having over £62500 in savings and being 28 at the time of application? Basically, I've saved about 75% of my earnings to date (living with parents helps a lot, and I haven't wasted money on cars and I rarely go out...

Re: Limited Company/ Category A

I'm a salaried employee (I will own some shares in the company - probably around £2000 but the company is worth £7billion, so it's nothing major). No one related to me is part of the company in a director/ owner capacity. I completely agree with you - i'm a normal employee. It's just that the Append...

Re: Spouse visa: Appendix 2 form?

Re: Spouse visa: Appendix 2 form?

Priority is available for Pakistan - i've seen other people do it. I think the VFSglobal site is showing it's not available, but I created a dummy acocunt, and it then gave the option for priority visa. It also used to show as an option on the page anyway (so no idea what's happened!).
