Re: Tier 2 General Visa Extension

Hi,
From my understanding, the difference between:

Leave to enter: when you apply outside the UK (hence you enter after visa granted)
Leave to remain: when you apply inside the UK.

I don't know what to do if you have no other option.

Re: Business/secondary income on tier 2

Self employment is not possible on a Tier 2, so any of those activities you mentioned are in breach of it, investing in stocks included. You can take up a secondary job as long as it's in the same sector up to 20 hours a week. The tax for the secondary job is managed the same way as your primary jo...

Tier 2 General open a limited company and own 50% shares

Hi,

I am wondering whether I can:
- start and invest 50% (or 100%) of shares in a limited liability company.
- be a director of the company.

the company will work in buy & letting properties.

Many thanks,

Re: Tier 2 dependent BRP delayed due to NiNo

@Acelyn: I do have my NINO before my Tier 2 application. They need to confirm my existing NINO with DWP. I hope it will be easier if you don't have NINO as they will just create a new one for you. @Patrick87: I just use the same link as the first complaint. I suppose Home Office will check in the sy...

Re: Start date of ILR: tier 2 approval date or BRP issue date?

Hiya,
Thank you very much for your prompt reply!
I would like to ask a further question: so if my tier 2 end date/valid until date is 09/12/2023, can I meet the 5 year stay requirement? As this will be about 10 days to be exact 5 years :(
Many thanks,
