Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Hello everyone. I live in London and my lawyer is saying that super priority is only available via the premium centre on Mark Lane. However, I see that some of you have had super priority decisions after submitting your biometrics in Croydon. I don't know what the options are because the application...

Re: Tier 2 Gen ILR application with a limited company

Hi , Mine is due at the end of October . I spoke to a solicitor from London. Is an established firm. Solicitor confirmed to me that they have asked this same question to home office. Reply from home office was that it is ok to be a director and start a limited company. But the work you do should be...

Re: Tier 2 Gen ILR application with a limited company

Thank you ever so much for your reply. I have hired an experienced lawyer and they are yet to present their views in this regard. I will keep my fingers crossed. Do you recommend I come out forthright and mention the matter in my application? Hello D_Torque, may I ask if you have now applied for IL...

Re: Doing Business under Tier 2 General

She would then be working for herself then by employing herself. You seem to be missing the point that ANY supplementary employment can only be in the same SOC and job that she does with her main sponsor. Hi CR001, Thank you for your quick reply. May I ask two other questions regarding to your comm...

Re: Doing Business under Tier 2 General

Regarding your question on director, I plan to set up a company for the insurance broking business and plan to be the director. Any thoughts if there is a way to do the insurance broking business without breaching visa rules? You cannot do that. You can only work in a secondary job through a compan...

Is super priority still available for long residence SET(LR)?

Hello all, With the new UKVAS service now implemented I am not sure if it super priority (or a new equivalent) is available for SET(LR) applications. The guidance at the bottom of this page only mentions the 6 month processing time: https://www.gov.uk/long-residence/apply-to-settle I've read many th...

Re: Evidence required for SET(LR) long residence 10 years route

As you fill the form it will ask you to provide evidence of your specific circumstances. I’m also applying soon. If you are married then it ask for Marriage cert and Correspondance for last two years. If you have children it will also ask for Birth Certificates etc. I found online form simpler. Tha...

Re: Evidence required for SET(LR) long residence 10 years route

Hi CR001, many thanks for the link. Can I please check - the reason these documents have been archived is because the paper application form is no longer accepted, is that correct? Do you know if there is a guidance document to support the new online-only application? I've struggled to find one. Tha...

Evidence required for SET(LR) long residence 10 years route

Hello all. I'm new to these boards so thank you all for your advice in advance. I'm looking to apply for ILR via the long residence route soon. Does anyone have a list of the evidence that I'll need to submit along with my application? There's lots of guidance online about other ILR routes but not s...
