Re: Free FBI fingerprint cards

Hi, I called the FBI and they told me they don't mail them and to just download Form ‎FD-258 and print it on white paper. I did that and got fingerprints done at my garda station and mailed them to the FBI and they accepted that. My fingerprints took over a week to get to them, but once they got the...

Re: Delays with 2019 applications

Hi,
I applied in early January and got passport and acknowledgement back in less than a week, but I haven't heard anything since then. I was hoping to have my second letter by now as my case is really straightforward.

Re: Irish citizen with US spouse

Re: Police clearances US

Thanks guys, think I will work on getting them now. I wish they would ask for this stuff up front instead of after we've submitted everything!

Re: Free FBI fingerprint cards

If anyone else is required to submit to immigration a police clearance certificate from the US and finds out that at your local Garda station they ask you to provide your own card for fingerprinting, send me a message. FBI have generously sent me more cards than I requested and I would be happy to ...

Police clearances US

Hi, I'm a US citizen and applied for Irish citizenship in January based on being a spouse of an Irish citizen. I'm curious if they ask everybody for a police clearance? If so I want to get them lined up ahead of time so I'm ready to go if/when they ask for it, but from what I saw in other posts it s...

2019 Citizenship Applications Timelines Only

There is no thread for 2019 so I'm going to jump in and start one if that is okay with the mods, following same format as previous years: Application Based On: Spouse of an Irish Citizen Applied On: 04/01/2019 Application received On: 07/01/2019 Acknowledgement : 10/01/2019 (received passport back a...

Re: Documents for name change due to marriage

I suppose it depends what the name change is for. I was married previously, so I submitted a certified copy of my divorce judgment, and then a certified copy of my marriage certificate to show my new name.
