Re: Proposed marriage_End of Notice period: What steps to take

Hi While I understand that the moderators do not have any obligation to respond, its surprising that they zealously just merge topics, while not giving any guidance. Reason for opening new thread: To have correct thread name and get members to respond. The forum does not allow edit in thread name. I...

Proposed marriage_End of Notice period: What steps to take

Hi All, Our notice period for proposed marriage was reduced from 70 days to 28 days. We both received letter to that effect from HO, that they have decided not to investigate. Now the 28 day notice period got over on 14th April. I understand that GRO must be satisfied that prior marriage is ended an...

Re: Please help answer my query Spouse Visa

Seagul
Should there be ONE cover letter explaining all the exceptions or exclusions or different cover letters for each section eg. financial requirement cover letter, sponsor details cover letter?

Thanks

Re: Spouse visa rejected, provided 6 pay slips, HO say i provided 3

Well if you are at mercy of HO's arbitrary and authoritarian policies, then I guess anything that helps create some noise should be done. I read somewhere in this forum itself, that HO rejects cases, assuming that most of them wont be appealed or contested. There should be audit trail of all the doc...

Re: Spouse visa rejected, provided 6 pay slips, HO say i provided 3

Contact your local MP I spent many a time writing to the home affairs select committee who review and scrutinise government actions and policies and got some decent response following the debacle of my husband's long winded case.. The only thing applicants can do is to cover themselves with a cover...

Re: Spouse visa rejected, provided 6 pay slips, HO say i provided 3

This is unacceptable. Refusing because of incomplete documentation and sending back all the documentation, including the one which they claim missing; is lying on the face! This behaviour is equivalent to the crooked, cunning small timer, trying to make a quick buck. Certainly not expected out of an...

Re: Visa Refused for false reason by UKVI

This is horrifying. My wishes to you chenmyster. On this forum I have read a lot of cases with expired visas, criminal background, overstayers for years, past refusal applicants due to wrong declarations in prior applications etc. Their far from humane treatment at the hands of HO and I worry a lot ...

Re: Notice to Marry_Naturalised British +non EEA national_Document queries

Apologies CR001. Intention was not to have multiple posts, but get advice under proper application route.
Earlier queries were posted under Fiance Visa queries and these for FLR (M).

However point noted.
As long as queries are answered, the purpose is served.

Thanks

Re: Non EEA Applying Fiancee Visa from UK- divorce document queries

Thanks CR001. Sorry to be a pain: Section 3C leave means: I can stay in the country, as long as I have applied for the FLR (M) Visa before expiry of my current visa ICT (Tier 2). The stay will be till the duration of decision. If approved- I can stay back on FLR (M) for 30 months If Refused- I need ...

Re: Non EEA Applying Fiancee Visa from UK- divorce document queries

there is 2 weeks wait on appointment to declare intent to marry and then 70 days more, before we can get married. It is 28 days notice. The 70 days extension is decided by HO and not the Registry office. Not everyone is extended to 70 days before getting approval from HO. Only after then can I appl...

Re: Non EEA Applying Fiancee Visa from UK- divorce document queries

Dear CR001 Thank you for quick response. Its heartening to see the will to help others. Though I am more confused than before.
