Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Really hate the delay email. Just received one called “UKVI DELAY NOTICE” after biometric submission. So excited to see an email from HO and turned out to be this. I assume it means nothing, but wonder how long after this email people received decisions if anyone got the same email. This is the 2nd...

Hi I tried to search the post relate to ‘right to work’ in this thread, but this has been so popular over last weeks. I checked the right to work page today, my old BRP shows ‘The details entered don’t match our record’. Is this means I will receive a decision shortly? Will I hear anything within d...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I agree, I think it's random. However, I am keeping records of application approvals (only the ones which were shared in this forum) since 10/09/2020 and doing some stats and they seem to be starting from August and then the focus was back to March/April/May/June July recently as follows: SET (O) i...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

A quick question. After UKVI application and UKVCAS documents submission, does UKVI see the documents? Or only after biometric submission, everything will be forwarded and viewable by UKVI? Once you submit your documents via UKVCAS even before biometrics, they will be submitted to UKVI right away. ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

At what time does UKVCAS normally open for the booking? I assume people who applied just after Sep 4 deadline, including myself, will now have to compete for next week's available slots? You will have to keep checking. Official update says from 21st Sep but it may open up even before that. Note 9am...

Foreseeable future in employer letter

I work as a scientist in university based on fixed term contract, which will end next year. The letter I got from employer said “his employment will continue for the foreseeable future, subject to additional funding.” Will “subject to additional funding” be an issue? Thanks.

Hi, Zimba, I am a bit confused now, as CR001 responded to others as the 28day has to be the online application date, rather than decision date?

Apply earlier than 28days with standard service

My 5th anniversary (T2G-ILR) would be late October. 28days earlier will give me late September for earliest application. But as I read here, it is the HO decision date that actually matters, rather than the online application submission date. Considering the current processing time with standard ser...

I am applying for 2021 university entry and will be qualified for ILR later this year. Because of the covid, I may not get the ILR before university application dea...
