Re: Citizenship Statutory Declaration

That statutory declaration was already signed and sent with the application back in 2018. The letter says to complete attached statutory declaration and have it witnessed but there was nothing attached in the letter so not sure what it is.

Citizenship Statutory Declaration

I received a letter last week from citizenship department to send 2018 P60, employments details summary for 2019 and asked me to complete the attached statutory declaration, and have it witnessed and return to the office within 28 days but there was nothing attached. I have emailed them last week to...

Re: NEW IRP Card Online Renewal Not Working

Hello everyone,
Is there anyway we can apply for the renewal for IRP more than one month prior to the expiry of the current one?
The online renewal system wouldn't let me proceed to the submission page
'' Your expiry date should be no more than one month from today's date.''

Re: Citizenship ceremonies on 3rd July 2020

Good news. Virtual Ceremonies are the only solution as I had said in the very beginning. All they need now is to clear the backlog ASAP. Just to give an update to everyone: My FOI request suggests that Garda Vetting and everything is done. All I now need is an approval. Applied in September of 2018...

Re: Need Help/CMU4

Hi jjkhatri,
I applied in April 2018 too but haven't received anything from the department yet. Did you ask them about the status of your application by letter or email and they replied to you telling you about your application or they just sent the letter without you having to ask anything?

Re: Help needed

I would advise you to get a tourist visa and come to Ireland and book an online appointment with GNIB and go with your Irish wife to the appointment with the marriage certificate and other required documents and they will give you stamp 4 visa to live and work in Ireland. They won't ask for your wif...

Re: Non Eu separating from Irish spouse

Yes all looks good to me except 2 things
4. A Photocopy of Spouses Passport
5. A Photocopy of Spouses Birth Certificate

How is anyone meant to get them if they are separated or not having good terms with their spouses?

Re: Non Eu separating from Irish spouse

Did you send a letter to

Spouse of Irish National Unit (SIN/SOIN)
Residence Division - Units 5 and 6
Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service
Department of Justice and Equality
PO Box 12695
Ireland

If not then do it requesting for independent residency.

Re: Non Eu separating from Irish spouse

Thanks all for all the clarification. But how do I renew my visa which is due to expiry in July without my Irish souse? Can I stay here until the divorce is done? We have been married for only 2 years and 10 months. Just worried as my job is asking for a new stamp 4? Have no idea what to do. Thanks...

Re: Non Eu separating from Irish spouse

while on separation you can't do anything as per law & Rules.. you have to divorce and then need to apply for Retention of rights EU5 form. EU5 form: http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/form-EUTR5.pdf/Files/form-EUTR5.pdf Explanatory Leaflet: http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Form%20EU5%20Explanatory%20Lea...

Re: Citizenship application in process and about to get separated.

Hi, If I were you I would write a letter to Spouse of Irish National Unit ASAP as your Stamp is expiring in 4 months and they can take a while to get back to you with a decision and you would be left without and stamp waiting. Write a letter to Spouse of Irish National Unit (SIN/SOIN) Residence Divi...

Re: Citizenship application in process and about to get separated.

Thank you so much for your advise. I will try to get it done ASAP. Did you get your independent residency yet. How long were you on stamp 4 when you separated with your spouse if you don't mind me asking?

Re: Citizenship application in process and about to get separated.

I wonder what reason they will give to refuse my application. We were not getting along well with each other and it was stressing both of us out so one day she decided to ask me to leave and I left. No one else involved and there was no other reason than we were not happy together. I am looking in t...

Re: Citizenship application in process and about to get separated.

I am sorry to hear that. How long did they take to give you the decision? Did you apply for independent residency? I am on stamp 4 and I will complete 5 years on stamp 4 next year January. I will request for independent residency in August and I hope they'll grant my request.

Re: Citizenship application in process and about to get separated.

I informed the citizenship department before she could. I informed them the same week when I moved out of the house. She must have contacted them but there's nothing she could have said which can go against me. I moved out on 17th February and I applied for the citizenship last year April. The last ...

Re: Citizenship application in process and about to get separated.

It's been a year since I have applied for the citizenship. I will give it another couple of months and then apply for independent residency. I haven't completed 5 years on stamp 4 yet to apply for citizenship on my own merits. Thanks :)
