Thanks, if one looks at tier 2 extension it states that on https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general/extend-your-visa You should not start your new job until you’ve received your biometric residence permit with your new permission. For this to make sense, 28 days can also be from the date BRP was issued.. ...

Thanks. You are correct, however i just came across a recent HO amendment on point 23.9. Can one apply for ILR if he/she has no job for the previous 3 months, but the person has 5 years continuous stay and has not got his visa tier 2 curtailed yet.

my country does not allow dual citizenship and i have no interest in leaving my current passport.
can buying a small house in UK keep my status active or

sorry for any misunderstanding. What i meant was if I get my NZ visa of 3 years on my passport in UK embassy and then go for ILR, will it impact ILR application. Secondly, what conditions I should follow to keep my ILR active in case I choose to settle in NZ.

My job ended on 09th Jan 2019 on tier 2 general. Is there any way that the same company can sponsor you for the same soc code at anytime before the curtailment on Tier 2 without rlmt?

Sorry, i didnt understand. Did you want to say that the employer does not need to tell me that they have notified HO about my job end? And that i should wait for curtailment letter from HO?
