Hi Mansoor, We both have the same name although across the border :) :) Since your dependants got ILR in March 2019, I suggest wait till March 2020 and apply for Naturalisation for the entire family including yourself together. Non UK born children must become British first. You cannot get passport before that. Your passport does not need to be valid though

I m on ILR and just came back with just 2 weeks of holidays and immigration officer ask what I am doing in the UK and how long I stay outside of the UK and then scan the passport. same they ask from family.

Under section 322 (1C)

If the date of conviction is less than 24month than the date of ILR application, it must be rejected.

you need to provide some proofs of common address and relationship.
like bills having the same address or shared bills, bank statements showing same address, Marriage certificate, (kids Birth certificate, In case applicable).

As far as I can recall, since 2016 HO gets information for traveler also as you came in you have to fill up landing card as well and pass through from immigration. However, this is very clearly mentioned that you cannot travel abroad while your application in process.

if your dependent could not complete 5 years before their visa expires, you can still apply for another extension after getting ILR. But if you changed their VISA type then the 5-year clock will reset

Visa stamp date, which means they could have applied already in January. Thanks, in the above post I get confused, as it was stated that 5 years need to count from 1st entry date. my T2 visa was stamped on 01-05-2013, does this has any impact of the rule? ILR tier 2 Dependents

Hi

My family granted Tier 2 PBS dependent VISA on 15-02-2014 and they enter on 07-05-2014, I got my ILR in June-2018 after completion of my 5 years in Tier 2 General, Now can I apply for my family based on their VISA stamp date or I need to wait based on their 1st entry? Thanks
