1. 10-11-2017
2. Correct answers. You must only disclose absences from visa issue date in 2020 and onwards
Thank you so much for your help!

Ignore the shortfall at the end for now. You cannot vary an extension application to another extension. UKVI will grant them visa based on your circumstances, not just the COS. If you get ILR, the extension will be issued for max 3 years anyway.
Thank you so much, Zimba!

Can I vary dependent T2 application?

Dear All, Please check the following details. Currently, my BRP card expiration date is 14th, Nov 2020, same as my dependents. I applied for a T2 extension alone (changed a new job, different sponsor) on 11th/Aug, submit from App on 6th/Sep, still waiting for the decision. I started to work for the ...

Re: Qualified for ILR but still waiting for a decison from lastest Tier 2 extension application

You have no option but to apply for their extension before visa expiry. Thanks, Zimba! Sorry I still have another question. According to my new cos, my work end date is 1st Sep 2022. If I apply for my wife and daughter a T2 visa extension as normal before their visa expiry. They will still short fo...

Re: Qualified for ILR but still waiting for a decison from lastest Tier 2 extension application

You will apply for your dependant extension as normal before visa expiry, then vary those later to ILR and get a refund for the extension. Thank you again, Zimba! My wife and daughter will meet the 5 years requirement in December 2022. If I apply for their extension with my current cos, they only g...

Re: Qualified for ILR but still waiting for a decison from lastest Tier 2 extension application

ILR is not simply based on your residence alone. You must hold a Tier 2 from your sponsor first. Your TIer 2 visa must be granted with the new sponsor before applying for ILR. You must wait for the visa to be granted and work for one month for your new employer (if you have not started already) bef...

Re: Tier 2 visa-Main Applicant and Dependents apply separately queries

My point is could it possible that my child and I both apply with new job T2 visa together now? Because I need to do it soon to start a new job at a new place. It is only 2 years extension from Sep 2020, which still could make my child meet the 5 year requirement before her T2 visa expired at Sep 2...

Re: Tier 2 visa-Main Applicant and Dependents apply separately queries

Your dependents must both apply for a PBS dependent visa extension before their current visas expire. They will both apply for a 3 year extension. Your child CANNOT apply for ilr if your wife is not applying too. The rules don't allow this. The child will follow the same path as the mother. When yo...

Re: Tier 2 visa-Main Applicant and Dependents apply separately queries

What date was the initial visa issued for your wife? There is no 5 year requirement for children. The child can apply for ilr when your wife does or both of you apply together. Thanks, Char, really appreciate your reply. My initial visa issued date is 13/11/15. My wife's initial visa issued date is...

Re: Tier 2 visa-Main Applicant and Dependents apply separately queries

There is NO requirement for the dependents to apply for a visa now. They just apply shortly before their current visa expire. The child also only qualifies for a visa extension when your spouse applies for an extension. IHS fees are increasing in October to £625 per person per year. So you won't ac...
