On 27th Aug 2002, home office issued a letter stating that my work permit employment has been approved for 60 months and I now have permission to work. It then asked to send the passport for stamping/visa (it was an in country application). I then sent my passport, it was returned with a stamp date...

I called HO to make an appointment. With regard to the starting date of five years for those in-country applications, I got three different answers: (1) LTR stamp date (2) actual working date (3) work permit date. Hello Tamzin27,

In your previous post, you mentioned "Fortunately, I had the letter that comes with your Work Permit."

I assume the letter is your LTR approval letter. Do they have the same date?
