Well, I’m finally there. My passport has now arrived. I applied for the FBR on 4 November 2018. Entered into FBR on 8 October 2019. FBR certificate received 30 October 2019. My understanding is that had you applied and received Irish citizenship before your children were born, yes, they would have automatically had it too. Unfortunately, it can’t be done retrospectively unless their parent or grandparent was actually born in Ireland. I’ve not been able to find anywhere...
