Re: Taking photos rather than using a scanner for documents

Hello, For spouse visa we have to scan supporting documents and upload them. Has anyone been successful in taking photos of documents and uploading them rather than using a scanner? Many thanks. Yes, my husband took photos of his passport pages and other documents, and sent those to me. I did have ...

Re: Relationship Documents via TLS Contact

I think it probably just wouldn't upload it in the first place if the file is too large, so you wouldn't be able to preview it etc. But better to be safe than sorry so agree with your idea of splitting the file.

Re: Relationship Documents via TLS Contact

In case it doesn't accept the document after submission would you be able to re-upload? I appreciate you taking time to reply I don't think so as the functionality to upload is locked on the site once you submit. You would probably have to pay the TLS centre to add any additional documents. However...

Re: Relationship Documents via TLS Contact

Someone on here was saying after submission and bio metric appointment the documents disappear is this expected? Just trying to see which one would be good for us. Yes, the site does not allow you to view even the list of documents after submission and the biometrics appointment. From memory, when ...

Hi Enkay, if I may ask what Is the max PDF size for each upload?
I can't remember but it was quite large - I think maybe up to 10MB. One of the pdfs I uploaded was over 4MB and I didn't have any problems with it.

Re: Relationship Documents via TLS Contact

Yes the self upload option someone said you can use as many documents as you like. Only reason I didn't want to use it is I read reviews saying it's a pain to use and sometimes documents get lost. Have you got an answer yet? Yes, visa was granted. I didn't have too many issues using the TLS upload ...

Re: Application for spouse outside the UK

Just want to say a big thank you to everyone that has helped with my queries. My husband's visa has been granted. The decision letter was dated 18th September (53WD after biometrics) even though the call centre told me no decision had been made when I called on the 19th! Was probably for the best a...

Re: Unstamped Bank Statements

Thanks everyone. Would appear I am not alone in little dilemmas. Another one. I have got an online copy of my P60 from my employee work portal as issued my employer. It States - "this is a printed copy of of an eP60." Will this suffice or should I request an original copy from my employer? Everythi...

Re: Application for spouse outside the UK

Oh right, ok. Hi Enkay Is there a reason why your husband completed the B1 test? Is this not for him to join you? Reason being, My husband submitted the A1 as it’s his first application then if visa granted I believe the next test would be A2 (extension) after them it would be B1 We're still waitin...

Why not as a precaution just download and fill it again and submit along with other documents. Its still available here. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/733638/VAF4A-Appendix2-08-18.pdf It's too late for us as we have already submitted...

Re: Application for spouse outside the UK

Could you please share the screenshot of old website where it used to say to submit appendix 2 I didn't submit appendix 2 in the end. Hopefully I've managed to upload a picture of the print out of the old page as at May 2018. I've highlighted the bit where appendix 2 is mentioned. The same section ...

Re: Application for spouse outside the UK

It's taken a lot longer to gather the documents than I expected, but we are now almost ready to submit. The one outstanding item is the letter from my employer confirming that my payslips are genuine since I only get them online. However Payroll have insisted that they only stamp and sign the printe...

Application for spouse outside the UK

Hello, I'm in the UK and want to make a start on a spouse visa application for my husband who is in Nigeria, however I have stumbled at the first step! There seems to be 2 different application websites and I'm not sure which one is the right one to use. The link on the gov.uk spouse info page goes ...
